time is eternal, there is no trace of the beginning of time nor will there be the knowledge of the exact moment of the end of time. one can fall beneath the weight of the future or even the events of the past, causing one to wallow with sorrow to try and get better. but time can heal, one of the key medicines not prescribed in a bottle with the sticky label from a doctor. it may seem like forever but really, time passes as quickly as it started. days bleeding to months and to years before one's eyes, beginning of a life soon fades quickly to the end. would there be a guide to help you cross some sort of after life when your time is done? you pondered this as death seemed to be so close to you, but, you were exaggerating.
the fever burning your face had never faded in the hours you laid in bed, from the night before now to the morning light, how long would it take for you to heal from the annoyance of a harsh cold. it's not like you would get sick often so this was the rarest of occasions, like a gem or fossil when one digs in the dirt.
again with the concept of time, disregarding the analysis of it, has its potential and prime uses for one's in daily life. punctuality, one especially needs to punctual for numerous occasions. for school? be on time. a hangout? be on time. a job interview? actually show up pretty early, it'll make you look like a better candidate with dedication for a job you may end up despising of in the future shifts.
though, punctuality was the most important in your job, oh what was it again? that's right, documenting and laying out ryo's research about demons. each day you would wake up, get ready, and spend back stiffening hours writing, typing, drawing, laying out, and organizing mountains of notebooks with scribbled notes. it would help ryo to draw out his theories plus he liked the way you organized his papers, color coding making the most important or dangerous of details stand out.
often times it would also lead to hanging out with akira as well, and rarely venturing with them to the dangerous work in the streets searching for demons. some bits would be preserved for you to analyze with them. the occasional adrenal rush of was a good way to keep your feet moving, but not so good in the way you felt as if you cheated death from running from multiple demons and monsters from the shadows.
