Keeper of the Lost Cities Oneshots

"We could share?"

Biana POV
(Highschool AU, Human AU)

           The newspaper club is going on a week long study trip to a local museum. We are supposed to learn about the art there so we can write about it in the school newspaper. We are currently on a very chaotic bus which has Sophie with her headphones in asleep on Keefe's shoulder, she somehow is sleeping through all the loud noise being made by our classmates. Linh is sitting next to me reading, tam is sitting in front of us next to Dex. My brother and our other friends had other stuff to do so they couldn't come. I am trying to plan out a new outfit to make. I'm thinking of making a satin dress with-
"Hey, what are you thinking about?," I snap out of my thoughts to see Dex turned around in his seat looking at me with his mesmerizing periwinkle eyes.
"Just thinking of outfits to sew, what are you doing" A small smile creeps onto his lips and he looks adorable. I can't believe how much I like him.
"I'm just trying to guess how long it will take for Tam and Keefe to start fighting?" He says with a laugh.
           "I say as soon as Sophie wakes up they will find something to argue about," The bus pulls up to a hotel and students start running out of the bus.

*slight time skip*

Everyone is standing inside the hotel with all of our luggage, waiting calmly for instruction from what to do. Well not everyone Keefe and Tam are currently debating if the plural of moose is meese.
"Ok students, everyone will pair up and your partners will be your roommate for the rest of this trip. Sophie and Keefe immediately pair up, Tam and Linh pair up, which leaves Dex and I.
"Um, do you wanna room together?" Dex questions with a slight flush on his cheeks.
"Yeah, sure," we grab suitcases as teachers are passing out room keys. We are on floor 4 same as Sophie, Keefe, Tam, and Linh. We all walk towards the elevator and get in.
"It's meese, I'm telling you it's meese," Keefe is still arguing with Tam.
"It's not meese Keefe, it's moose," the elevator doors open and we all get out. I look at our key until I find the matching door. I finally find the door and unlock it, Dex close behind me. I open the door and step inside, holding the door open for Dex. The room has white walls. There is a bathroom right as we enter the room, there is a tv, mini fridge, a chair, and only one bed.
"I'll sleep in the chair," Dex immediately volunteers.
"No it's ok I can sleep in the chair," I say.
"I insist I'll sleep in the chair," Dex says rolling his suitcase to next to the chair. I smile slightly and give a reluctant nod, placing my suitcase by the bed. It is only 7 and don't think there are any plans for the rest of the day.
     "Do you want to watch a movie?" I ask Dex. He nods and I pay the bed where there is room next to me. He comes and sits next to me.

*time skip*

It is 10 o clock and we have a long day tomorrow so we both agreed to get some sleep. I feel bad that Dex has to sleep in that chair. Wait I have an idea.
"We could share, um, the bed. I-if you want," The offer just slips out of my mouth. I can't believe I just said that and to my crush.
"Um sure," he replies so I move over feeling half of the bed free as he climbs in next to me.  I turn on my side and whisper "goodnight Dex,"

*time skip to morning*

           I slowly wake up and myself curled up against something. I then remember Dex and start to get up hoping he didn't notice.
          "Stay?" I hear him whisper so I just curl back up and cuddle with him. I look over and he looks like he still asleep so I whisper.
           "I really like you Dex, like like like," I suddenly feel him move and he looks me in the eyes.
           "I really like you too, Biana," he says and we both lean in and share a quick kiss before someone starts banging on the door.
            "OPEN UPP YOU TWOO, WE HAVE STUFF TO DO," I hear Keefe yell from outside our door.
            "Coming Keefe!" I yell back then turn back towards Dex, "So does this mean you will be my boyfriend?" He excitedly nods and smiles.
            "I DONT HAVE PATIENCE, HURRY UPPPP," Keefe continues to yell, I laugh, get up, and walk over and open the door. I open the door to open greeted by Sophie, Keefe, Linh and Tam.
            "I can tell you don't have patience Keefe," he just shrugs his shoulders and Dex walks up behind me.
           "So, can we go now?" Keefe asks impatiently.
           "Yes Keefe, let's go," Dex laughs locks our hotel room, slips his hand into mine, and we all walk off for a day full of fun.

I might do a part 2 to this if anyone wants it. I just got tap shoes so I have been learning tap dance recently. It's pretty fun. I hope you all enjoy this oneshot and have a wonderful day.
