"What are you doing here?" I ask as I run up to him. "I thought you were home schooled." We are in Mr. Fable's room. He teaches History.
"Well, my parents said,' You need to make more friends." He says doing a really bad impression of his parents. He put his hands on his hips and moves them back and forth. Then, he flips his hair to the side and in his coolest voice possible he says, "But, I was like, 'Why. Isn't my 2 million friends enough?'" He does his horrible parent impression again, "And their like, 'I don't like your attuide, young man!'" His coolest voice. "And I said, 'And I don't like where this is going.'" His parent impression, "My mom was like, ' That's it! You are starting at a public school!' And I was like' No please!' And she said, ' Okay fine. You have to go to a public school, but I'll make it easier. You can go to the school Rosetta goes to.' So, now I'm here." He guestures to around himself.
All I can say is, "Wow."
"Yeah I know. She said, 'She'll introduce you to her friends and you'll be in a click.' Whatever that means. So, where are your friends?" He claps his hands.
"Um...I don't have any. Sorry." I look down. I still havn't made any friends since I moved here. It's kind of embarrrassing.
"Well, it's your lucky day. You, my friend, have just made a friend."
I don't even know how to respond to that. I just hug him and he laughs. The bell rings.
"Alright! The bell has rung. Everyone in your seats!" Mr. Fable yells. We all hurry to our seats. Except for Jace since he doesn't have one. "We have a new student. Jace, come up to the front and tell us about yourself." Jace walks up to the front and all the girls eyes shoot up to look at him. Some twirl their hair. Some bite their bottom lip. This typically wouldn't bother me, but for some reason, today it does. I figit in my seat, suddenly uncomfortable.
"Hi." He waves. "My name is Jace Norman. I act on the show Henry Danger if you know of it. And Uh...I'm pretty awesome."
The most popular girl in the class, Jennifer Bradly, stands up. "Well, I know one things for sure." She starts walking up to the front of the room. "You are pretty." She's really close to him now.
"That is enough, Miss. Bradly. Please, take a seat," Mr. Fable instructs.
"I'll save a seat at lunch next to me for you," she says cooly to Jace and walks back to her seat. Great. My only friend gone like that.
"Actually, I already have a seat being saved so sorry." He smiles and glances at me. I bite my lower lip, trying to stiffel a laugh.
"Jace you can sit right behind Rosetta Harley. Beside Doug Vidal." Doug waves. Jace takes a seat and class begins. We are learning about the Abraham Lincoln. "So, Abraham Lincoln-" I stop listening after that. What if Super Man did exsist? I think. What if the hospital I was born at didn't exsist? What if the world ended right now? No wonder I have a B.

Lunch. I sit at my usual spot, by the window. I like to look out it and reconsider my life choices. Just kidding. I usually stare off into space. Not thinking about anything. I feel a tap on my sholder.
"May I sit here?" Jace askes in a mid-evil voice.
"Of course, my fine sir," I reply in what I consider a mid-evil voice.
"What was that?" He laughs while sitting down next to me.
"My mid-evil voice." He looks at me weird. "What? Too mid or to evil?"
"Both," He replies laughing. "So, that Jennifer Bradly."
"Yeah?"
"She kinda freaks me out," he says and shivers.
"Why? Most people love her," I ask with a smirk.
" I don't know. She just seems so...fake."
"Yeah. She can come off that way. Be careful. She might turn into a Barbie." I say laughing.
"Ha ha. " Jace says scarcastly. "I wonder why you have no friends."
I stop laughing. I look down holding back tears. I know Jace can make friends wherever he goes, but why does he have to rub it in my face?
"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I--" He puts his arm around me.
"It's fine." I lie. It's still stings worse than a thousand bee stings, but I have to forgive him at some point.
Next thing I know we are laughing again and it's time to throw away our garbage. But, then it all went wrong.
(Thank you so much for all the votes! Sorry it took me so long to update... I've been busy. So, thanks again! Oh and this is what Jennifer looks like, so yeah.)
