"That sounds annoying," Jace laughs. We are at the set filming a episode called, Fish Flop. It's about this giant fish that flops onto land because of Jeff, a stupid guy that drives Captain Man nuts. I just told him all about the interview and showed him the video. The video is really good but, you can tell Becca's trying too hard.
I laugh, too. "Yeah. I guess. But, not all interviews can be good."
"True." He pauses. "So, while you were out having fun, I was at my house being bored. So, I started asking Siri questions. I asked her, 'Phone, Phone in my hand. Who's the sweetest in all the land?' And she replied, 'You, my friend, are the fairest...Or maybe it's the apple on your dresser. So, I turn around and, sure enough, there is an apple on my dresser. So, I get freaked out and turn off my phone. So, yeah, I'm never using Siri again."
I give him a weird look. "Why did you have an apple on your dresser?"
"Of all the questions you could of asked, you wonder why I have an apple on my dresser?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, I'm very concerned. Like, is it still there?"
He tries to act casual. "Psst. No..." He looks around, "There was an apple on my dresser because I was hungry?" He says it like a question.
"Were you?" I ask.
"I was." He tries to keep a straight face but, we both burst out laughing. A security guard has to come over and tell us to be quiet. They are filming a scene with Jasper and Piper fighting like they always do.
"Hey." I whisper to Jace.
"What?" He whispers back.
"We should do something this weekend."
"Like what?"
"I don't know," I say. "I just feel bad that I could not save you from the 'Siri incident.'" I put air quotes around 'Siri incident'
"Well..." He thinks out loud. ":What about Disneyland?"
"Sounds like fun!" I can feel my eyes light up. "I've never been to Disneyland."
"Cool! So, my mom will take us and drop us off on Saturday," he says.
"Sweet!"
"Jace Norman and Rosetta Harley to set 6, please. Jace and Rosetta to set 6. Thank you," The loud speaker announces.
"Shall we?" I ask.
"We shall." We hook arm and skip to set 6 like little children.
