I woke up to William stirring slightly in his sleep, in daylight he was just as perfect. I moved slightly and William's grip on me tightened a little. His breathing changed as he opened his eyes "Good morning" he mumbled before smiling.

"Good morning Colonel" I smiled again before burying my head into his chest "You're looking rather nice this morning"

"Hmm, you look absolutely gorgeous" his voice was somewhat husky due to him just waking. We just stared at each other before sniggering "I'm sorry darling, I don't know what to say"

"me either"

"Well I-" there was a knock at the door and William let out a sigh of disbelief. He very quickly covered me in the quilt and stood up, picked up his clothes and screwd into a ball before covering himself with them. William cracked the door open and stood behind it "B-Borden, what do you want?" he stuttered and only then did Borden notice the reddish-purple marks on his shoulder and neck.

"Quite the night then?" James chuckled and William just shot him a death glare "Alright, breakfast will be ready in 10 minutes so compose yourself"

"Yes, fine, alright can I get ready?"

"Of course, give my best to your wife?"

"BORDEN!"

"Alright, alright I'm going" he laughed and walked back down the corridor.

William shut the door and looked towards me "You can laugh now" he smiled and walked back over towards me. I just bit my lip and smirked before shaking my head "what?" he grinned and sat on the edge of the bed.

"You get flustered when you're defensive" I smiled and knelt next to him "It's rather cute"

William let out a small laugh and turned to face me "You're cute" he smiled and kissed me softly.

"come on, we must get ready for breakfast"

"is it required?" William groaned and fell backwards onto the bed, exposing his lower abdomen in the process.

"Come on, but try and seem happy"

"And why wouldn't I be happy? I'm married to you" He grinned like a schoolboy who had just been given sweets "One major downside of being married to me, you're stuck with me forever"

"And I wouldn't have it another way" I shot him a loving smile before resting my hand on his chest. He sat up and encircled his arm around my waist before moving my hair to the side to expose the flesh on my neck "What on earth are you doing?" I asked as he started kissing and nibbling at a spot on my neck. I rested my hand in the back of his head and let out a small sigh of pleasure.

"Payback, you've given me 2" he mumbled against my skin.

"What goes around comes around then?"

William pulled away for a moment and hummed in response "The only problem being, one of mine is hard to cover"

"Just say you were attacked by a wild beast"

"who the bloody hell would believe that" He laughed and rested his forehead on my shoulder for a moment "I might just leave it on display to show that I'm yours" William spoke before bringing me into a kiss "my beautiful wife"

"my handsome husband"

"Come on we should get dressed" William stood up and walked over towards his desk before putting on his underwear and breeches.

"Can you turn around? Because I'm as naked as the day I was born and it might be a little off-putting to see me in sunlight" As I spoke he shot me a confused look and tilted his head to the side "I'm sorry..."
