That night sleep came rather quickly, however, I couldn't stop thinking about what the Colonel said. The next day I woke up to the Colonel nudging my shoulder.

"One thing to know about me, Colonel, I hate mornings"

"Do you now? Since when did I care?" he smirked and took a step back "get ready we leave soon"

"Oh the joy" I groaned and turned to face him "How long have you been here?"

"Around 4 minutes, you're hard to wake"

"Very funny" I sat up and realised I was only in my nightgown, as quickly as I could I pulled the covers over me "Will you at least get out so I can get ready?" he just shook his head and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. As I still didn't have anything to wear I put on the same clothes as yesterday. Eventually I made my outside and met with the Colonel, he shot me a small smile before walking up to me "why are you smiling?" I asked, taking him off guard.

"W-why...well its a nice day, I slept well, no reason to not smile"

"Well it suits you, try and smile more often"

"Right..." Tavington scowled slightly and narrowd his eyes "Well are you ready?" he shook his head and adjust the bag on his shoulder.

"Yes, I'm done packing the belongings I haven't got" I picked up the well used satchel and slung it over my shoulder.

The Colonel nodded slightly and looked down at the floor for a moment "follow me please" he mumbled and started walking down the corridor "and give me the bag, the strap will hurt your shoulder"

"Colonel I'm perfectly capable of holding onto it, thank you anyway"

"please?" Alright what the hell is wrong with this man today? Eventually I gave in and gave him the bag "thank you"

"why?"

"Well although you might not think it, I'm still a gentleman"

"Well with how you've acted I would say something else"

He let out a sigh and stopped walking "Can we just not argue for 5 minutes?" Tavington looked back at me and smiled slightly "Maybe we could even have a truce"

"What are your terms?"

"No more foul comments from the either of us and no more bloody arguing, it gets on my nerves"

"Fine" I rolled my eyes and smiled softly "but if you break it first, I walk away and you don't harm my family"

"I'm willing to do that"

"I wasn't actually expecting you to agree-"

"On one condition" he cut me off and started walking backwards "I get to call you by your name"

"Only if I can call you by yours"

"Agreed-"

"Well what even is your name?"

"William Benedict James Tavington" he leant against the banister and focused his gaze on me "That is my First, middle and last name"

"Why two middle names?"

"Not the foggiest of ideas my dear, my father named me, blame it on him"

"Do you have a nickname? You look like you'd have a nickname like Will maybe even Willy" I smiled and looked up at him.

"never call me Willy again"

"fine" I smiled and walked down the stairs "William, that name fits you"
