"Testing... 1,2... 1,2... HELLOOOOO VIEWERS!!! I am Present Mic, or as some fans like to call me; Presentation Micheal!!" Hizashi yelled into his mic in his booth. "Welcome back to Life With Present Mic! So... you guys know how I've been teasing a new segment on the show soon? Well that day has finally arrived! On Wednesdays and Thursdays from now on, we will be having a new section of the show, that I like to call: All About Pro-Hero's! On this new segment, we will be talking about all things Pro-Hero's! However, instead of describing their strengths and weaknesses, considering that could be dangerous, we will be discussing the truth about pro-hero's. Here with me today is Deku! Who is staying anonymous, for safety reasons." Hizashi finally finished. I looked over to see the person at the table flicking and pushing a few buttons, before pointing at me, telling my that it was my cue to speak. I took a deep breath and read from my script."Yes, thank you for having me Present Mic! It really is an honor to be here with you!" I say as enthusiastically as I could without yelling. I could somewhat hear my voice through the microphone and could tell that there was some weird affect to change my voice and make me completely anonymous.
"The pleasure is all mine! So, let's get riiiggghhhhttt into it!!!" Hizashi yelled. He started the topic by bringing up both of our favorite hero's, Eraserhead. We both figured that he was a good starting point for my first ever show and would be a sweet surprise for Aizawa. He asked me questions, obviously ones that he had already known but was just asking them for the viewers, as I read off of the script and my analysis book. We then got caught up in hero talk until the thirty minutes of the radio show were up.
"Well that is all that we have for today folks!!! Tune in again on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 3:00 pm, for more Life With Present Mic!" He yelled, just before the mic turned off. We walked out of the booth, and to out surprise, we saw Aizawa standing there.
"Hey babe! What are you doing here?" Hizashi asks the tired man.
"You guys made me your first segment?" He asked.
"Well yeah! It was only fitting, you being both of our favorite heros and all!" I answer. He smiles a warm smile, pats me on the head and ruffles my hair, while he kissed his husband on the cheek.
When he moved, I saw Hitoshi peek out from behind him.
"Oh, Hey Hitoshi!" I beam once I notice him. Zashi notices his son too.
"Oh, yeah we were listening to you guys in the car and figured we should stop by so we can congratulate Izuku. You did very well kid."
"Yeah! It's your fist day and your already a natural! I'm impressed." Hizashi adds.
"Thank you!" I smile warmly at all of them.
"Um... can I talk to you?" Hitoshi finally chimes in.
"Sure." I answer.
"Alone?" He adds, looking at his adoptive fathers. Hizashi and Aizawa get the hint and walk out of the recording room and into the lobby. The person at the desk had already left a little while ago.
"So, what's up?" I ask once they leave.
"Um... I don't really know how to say this but, uh, I... like you." He answers, I'm kind of shocked. He hadn't shown very many signs of liking me? Was he just really good at hiding his emotions? Once he realized how long I was being quiet, he started to jump to conclusions.
"Damn it... I'm sorry. I'm such an idiot, you're probably not even gay are you? I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." He states.
"No! I-uh..." Crap what do I do? "It's not that- um..." Should I tell him? I mean, it's only fair. "I have a boyfriend." I finally manage to get out.
