A life at Hogwarts (Marauders Y/n)

Hagrid

You were just peacefully wandering outside when you saw Hagrid's hut. You never saw it, somehow. Your footsteps made crunching noises in the snow as you walked over.

"Y/n, where are you going?" You turned around and smiled when you saw Remus standing behind you. His slightly curly hair went in his face, he had his face buried in his scarf too.

"I just thought I'd meet Hagrid, a seventh year told me we have a lot in common." Remus looked confused then his footsteps joined yours. "Like what? I can't really see what they saw."

You got up to the door and knocked, "Well I love magical creatures and Holly said he does too." The door creaked open and a man with long hair and as tall, no, taller than the door answered.

"Who, ah Remus, what brings ye here?" You looked past Hagrid after getting over how tall he was. A boar hound was laying by the fire and it had the cutest curious look when it saw you.

"Oh, Y/n actually came to see you. I just happened to join."

"Well then, come in. Y/n was it? Make yer selves at home." You quickly walked over to the boarhound and started to pet him and slightly talk in a high pitched voice.

"You are the cutest, yes you are, yes you are." You giggled then sat on the floor just petting him.

"I see ye like Fang, he's a sweetheart fer sure."

"Hagrid, my friend told me I should meet you since we both love magical creatures."

"Who was yer friend? They be real smart saying that." Remus was sitting at the table next to Hagrid, he seemed to be really awkward.

"Holly, she's a ravenclaw and head girl." You looked back at Fang and went back to talking in a squeaky voice.

"Of course it was Holly, she was the one who gave me Fang. Well what's yer favorite crea-'' There was a high pitched sneeze that came from Hagrid's pocket. He reached in and pulled out a baby niffler. "My pocket must not be warm enough, Y/n can ye maybe get a blanket and place it by the fire." You looked at the shelves and pulled down a fluffy blanket. Hagrid then walked over and gently placed the niffler on it.

"Wow, I haven't seen a niffler in person before. It's so cute!" You gently put your hand towards it and it sniffed it.

"Heh, yup won er in a poker game. I was thinkin maybe Viola, what do ye two think?"

"Uhh seems to fit."

"I agree with Remus, that works perfectly." Hagrid smiled then sat back down.

"Ye two staying for Christmas this year?"

You looked at Remus and nodded indicating for him to go first. "I'm staying again, Sirius and James wanted me to." You nodded and smiled before taking a deep breath.

"I'm not, the Malfoy's invited me over for the Holidays." Remus tilted his head then his eyes widened when he saw Hagrid's reaction.

"Malfoy's! You'd better be careful, those purebloods are just. That Malfoy boy Lucius, he ain't nice. I have never seen him not teasing someone."

"What? No Lucius isn't like that. He wouldn't do that."

"Y/n is one of Lucius's friends," Remus leaned towards Hagrid and whatever he said made him laugh.

"Heh, Slytherin's usually are nice towards Hufflepuff's. That Malfoy should give up on that part though." They were both laughing and you just sat there confused. You then looked outside and noticed the sun wasn't going to be up much longer.

"Remus we should head back for dinner. It was nice meeting you Hagrid." You and Remus both got up and headed to the door.

"Nice te meet ye too Y/n." As the door slowly closed you waved at Fang and Viola till it shut.

"Alright I didn't know you loved magical creatures that much."

"Only people in my classes do, did Sirius tell you about..."

"Oh, yeah. I didn't want to bring it up, I thought you wouldn't want to talk about it."

You hopped up the castle steps and the warmth of the halls filled your body, "I don't care too much. I'm just hoping Voldemort stops trying to contact me."

"You said his name. Are you not scared of him?"

"Pfft no, I have a feeling he won't kill me...can I ask...actually never mind."

"Y/n what is it? We're friends right?"

"Yeah...are you a werewolf?" He froze and you stopped with him. "I know it's a bizarre quest-"

"Yes...Y/n I am. Please don't tell anyone." You smiled and held his hand. His face quickly flushed to a red color.

"I won't." You two just stared into each other's eyes, "Oh uh sorry..." You dropped his hand then continued to walk. The rest of the way was quiet and then you went your ways to your house tables.

"Is that your boyfriend Y/n? You two were blushing." Wilson teased as he stuffed his face.

"Easy on the food Wil! Y/n sorry, he teases literally anyone he thinks likes each other." Rose smiled at you and you just nodded while blushing.

"We're just friends."

"I'll give you some advice Y/n, friends don't randomly blush at each other. Also a guy or girl that looks at you like that, you have to realize soon before it's too late." Jewel then casually went back to her food. Once almost everyone was in their common rooms you spotted Lucius and Snape. You quickly ran over and out of breath blurted, "I need to explain. Oh my god I can't run. I'll stop keeping secrets." They both raised an eyebrow then you all went to the library and explained everything.

"Wait WHAT!"

"Lucius shh, after last year I don't blame you for not telling us. I'm not even going to pry what he told you that might be true."

"Great because they are, yikes. That's all I have to say."

"Y/n, the past three months, when you and Severus weren't talking, you were having dreams and talking to YOU KNOW WHO!" You nodded and Lucius looked like he was gonna pass out. You covered your mouth to stop you from laughing then Professor McGonagall appeared from around a bookshelf.

"Do you three know what time it is? Bed now." You froze in fear and got up to leave but McGonagall stopped you.

"Are you ever going to let me leave before pulling me to the side."

"Who knows. While at the Malfoy's I need you to stay sharp... Make sure they don't have anything to do with you know who." You slowly nodded then turned to leave.

"Alright I'll be your spy, goodnight Professor."
