Slughorn's Party

It was dark, you couldn't see a thing. As you were running your foot loosened some dirt and you fell down a small hill. You slightly screamed and once you stopped rolling you laid still on the floor.

"Well what do we have here." You were then lifted off the floor and were face to face with a centaur. He had long black hair that matched his tail and he looked decently scary looking. "A student? You should know better than to wander into the forest. Wait what's that?" He turned you around then quickly dropped you. "Dark mark..." He darted into the night and you sat there trying to figure out what emotion to portray.

"Huh, well I should head back." You stood up and screamed once again, how is he here?

"Y/n, go back to the school." It was Voldemort.

"I was, I just got los-"

He walked around you and started to play with your hair, "My darling, you are upset. I'll tell that perverted pest to leave you alone from now on." He clenched his wand as he walked back in front of you. "Why do you look so scared? I promised I wouldn't hurt anyone that was close to you. Now go back to the school, before they send someone out to look for yo-"

"Y/N! WHERE ARE YE!" Hagrid's voice echoed and you could see his light in the distance. Voldemort turned his head towards it then back at you.

"It was nice to chat in person for once." He smiled which creeped you out then he turned into black clouds leaving the area.

"There ye ar- What death eater was just here." Hagrid ran towards you and took your hand leading you out of the forest. "Where's Barty, he's supposed to keep an eye out for ye. Yes professor I found er." He let go of your hand and you started to walk to the school entrance.

"Y/n where are you going?" McGonagall yelled out to you.

"They just er, talked to a death eater. I'm glad I arrived when I did, they could've tooken em." You started to run faster and once in the castle headed to your dorm.

"Y/n, where were you! My father is this close to removing me from this job." You kept your head down then looked up, fiery in your eyes. "Y/n what's wrong?" You quickly pulled him down by the collar and slapped him.

"IDIOT! You violated our promise and I just had a chat with," You went into a whisper, "My father." Barty's eyes widened and you violently let go of his collar as you entered the common room.

"Y/n, now y/n what did he say, y/n, Y/N! Answer me!" You started to go up the steps to your dorm but your prefect yelled out for you.

"Druid, Dumbledore is requesting you." You froze then slowly turned passing Barty.

"Mr. Crouch, we will discuss this stupidity later." You opened the door and slammed it in his face.

"Y/n I have to stay with you at all times." You didn't respond and ignored him the whole way to the spiral staircase.

"Y/n, have a seat. Oh Mr. Crouch, please stand outside." He didn't move, "They are safe with me, don't worry." You heard the door close and just stared down at the floor. "Y/n Hagrid states you encountered a Death Eater?"

"Yes sir..."

"Who was it? Did you recognize them?"

"N-no sir..." Dumbledore gave you a confused look then stood up going over to the window.

"Alright...I'm assuming you've figured out how to stop me from reading your mind. I only hear silence from you." You looked at him confused then nodded.

"Yup, I did." You obviously were lying, he knew that without a doubt.

"Tell me, what is the secret to keeping me out of your head?" You fiddled with your hands before standing up and crept towards the door. "Y/n, what happened in that forest." You sharply turned to him and started to tap your wand against your leg.
