The halls were crowded with students making their way to breakfast or many other places. You had already gone to your dorm to grab your bag and wand so you joined the crowd to breakfast. Right as you sat down Holly sat across from you. "You shouldn't eat alone. I don't care if this isn't my house table, I know right, I read your mind." She waited for you to laugh or something but nothing. "Y/n, I know you didn't get the break you wanted but cheer up. I've cleared up everything and said those Gryffindor boys made everything this past year up. That they just wanted to make you feel hurt for fun. Everyone hates them, beside Gryffindor obviously." You looked at her surprised and ate a waffle.

"You didn't have to do that."

"You're practically my little sib, and as head girl I should look out for everyone." You smiled then took a look at your schedule. Your eyes widened, excited.

"I start today with learning about magical creatures, followed by care for magical creatures, then DADA with Slytherin! This is awesome- Wait, I don't have magic history anymore."

"Lucky you, and it seems you really like magical creatures." You looked up and shrugged.

"It's my dream to work with every creature possible."

"Crap I have to start walking to class. You'll get along with Hagrid though! He's the gamekeeper here!" She disappeared before you could ask who exactly Hagrid was. You shrugged and happily walked over to your first magical creatures class and opened the door right as you walked in. Students flooded in behind you and you got a decent seat two rows from the front. You looked around and just saw random second years that never spoke to you unless they teased you last year. Like every first day of class it was boring, well except when some Gryffindor's decided it would be funny to throw a paper at you which was an exact copy of that letter. You turned to them and threw it back and of course you were caught and they weren't. "Druid! That is very childish of you, 5 points from Hufflepuff." You groaned and put your notes and quill away right as the bell rang. Care for Magical Creatures wasn't too fun either, the teacher basically just quizzed the class the whole time and almost no one knew the answers. Finally you made your way to DADA and Severus and Lucius were at the door waiting for you.

"Boring day I suppose?" You gave Severus a look that meant yes.

"How do you feel? I'm guessing Pomfrey took care of whatever was happening." You sat in your usual seat and nodded.

"Yup I'm normal again, shouldn't get any panic attacks anymore." The teacher hushed the three of you so they leaned in and started to whisper.

"Are you really living with Professor McGonagall? I mean you could probably live in the manor with me, you just have to ask."

"Like they'd like to live with you."

"Shut it Severus. I mean what do you even do there, study." Severus nudged Lucius and you just smiled.

"I actually have had some fun, I did however get in trouble for playing music on my record player around three in the morning. Besides that it's just been laughing and giggles there." They looked at you shocked and not believing it.

"Yeah no, that Professor is nothing like that. Druid I think you forgot what fun means." Lucius looked at your wrist and the bracelet had the usual pink glow. He seized it and tried it on, it glowed right as it touched his skin. "Seems I've forgotten something, or it's just broken. I mean it always is on." You sat there thinking then your brain clicked.

"Bloody hell." You looked at them then hid a bright smile. Lucius has a crush on Severus. He's GAY! You grabbed it then handed it to Severus. "Try it on." He looked concerned but tried it on for your sake.

"Nothing, looks like it isn't broken. Malfoy looks like you have forgotten something." Lucius scoffed and you put the bracelet back on, it lit up and you went back to note taking. After the bell rang the three of you went straight outside and sat by the tree. It was decently warm and it was just breathtaking outside.

"Malfoy!" A girl, an older Slytherin with black hair came walking over with a younger Slytherin girl. "Can me and my sister hang with you, she's trying to stick up for me and it ain't going so well." The little girl waved and then they both sat down with you guys before he answered.

"Well...Y/n, you know Bellatrix and Narcissa right?" He looked annoyed but you knew that was just his outer shell, not his true feelings.

"I've seen Bella around, fifth year right? However Narcissa, I've never seen. I'm assuming a first year."

"Right on spot, mighty courageous of you to call me Bella without asking." Your smile faded to a fake one and you joined Severus by putting a book in front of you. "Books? Lucius how are you friends with them?"

He chuckled, "Well I've seen y/n's fierce, and very Slytherin like personality. Oh and Severus just tagged along, him and Lily haven't been getting along." You closed your book and smacked Lucius across the head with it.

"ALRIGHT! I like them!" Snape smiled but covered it with the book, only you saw it.

"So Narcissa, you've been to the Malfoy Manor haven't you. I think I've seen you shyly running about."

"Oh, I didn't think you ever saw me. That place is huge." Lucius went on and on about how big the manor is and everything he does when he gets bored. You and Snape kept your eyes on your books and zoned out the whole thing. Before you knew it everyone was heading to their common rooms for bed.
