(Third Person's POV)

Minki sat on his bed, sobs wracking his body as he gripped around himself, trying to assure himself that this wasn't just some sick dream.

Chenle hadn't made it through the night. His unknown illness taking him peacefully in his sleep.

Everyone was restless and Minki refused to leave his room or even respond to anyone besides Jaemin or Jeno, who had just recently left his room to go to the ceremony for the three fallen.

A soft knock rung throughout the room, but Minki didn't register it.

Yuta walked in slowly, running over to the poor boy as soon as he saw what state he was in.

Yuta grabbed Minki's shoulders but Minki was unresponsive. He was hyperventilating and sobbing so hard he could hardly catch his breath.

(Yuta's POV)

I quickly got behind Minki and held his arms close to his chest so he would stop clawing at himself, bleeding cuts from his nails on any skin that was showing from him.

He thrashed against me, trying to go back to hurting himself as he sobbed, random gibberish spilling from his lips, the only solid word being 'Chenle'.

I teared up slightly, turning him in my arms and pressing his body into mine, letting him feel my heartbeat as I pulled his head to rest on my shoulder.

I flinched slightly as he started to bite at me, trying to get me to let him go since I had restrained his arms and legs when shifting him cause he was kicking.

I gently shushed him, stroking his hair as his jaw went slack and more sobs fell from him, his body slumping against mine as he gave up fighting, just holding himself as he shook like a leaf in my arms.

I pressed my face into his hair, tears of my own leaking down my cheeks as I just hugged him tighter, letting him know I was there, that I wasn't gonna be leaving him anytime soon.

I started to softly sing to him, stroking his hair and rocking us as Jeno and Jaemin came in.

(This song)

Both boys crawled into bed, grabbing each of Minki's hands, curling up against my sides as I sung for them, the boys trying to calm their broken friend.

Eventually, towards the end of the song, all three fell asleep. I looked at them, smiling weakly, vowing to myself that I wouldn't let any of them get hurt, ever.

I carefully shifted out from behind Minki, going and grabbing some bandages and ointment to help with the wounds on his body. I left soft kisses on each of the bandaids as I went.

I pulled his aids out and set them on the bedside table before leaving a kiss on his cheek and kisses on the other boys foreheads.

I left the room, running immediately into Taeyong. He softly patted my shoulder. "I...can see that he likes you a lot more, so I'm gonna give up, okay? He's all yours." I shook my head softly. "He's no one's hyung, if he wants to be with me he can be with me. He's been through too much to get hurt again." He nodded, smiling proudly at me.

I walked passed him, down to the living room and through the back door, heading over to the crosses, a fresh pile of overturned dirt infront of Chenle's since we actually had his body. I placed some wild flowers on in, kneeling and lowering my head.

"I hope your happy and okay now Chenle, we all miss you dearly. Please watch over Minki and us with the others. We love all of you."

I felt the sensation of a hug and smiled to the sky, standing and heading back inside, deciding to make Minki's favorite for supper, even though I knew he most likely wouldn't want to eat much or even really leave his room.
