"Xylazine. It's a tranquillizer for horses. For a Werecoyote, expect it to work within seconds," Deaton explained as he held up the item in his hand and Lena's brows furrowed as she looked at it. She could have sworn this was the same story as with Jackson when he was the kanima and last time that plan didn't go very well, "I only have three. So, whoever's shooting needs to be a damn good shot."

"Allison's a perfect shot," Scott assured.

"She used to be," Isaac corrected.

"Now she's just shooting at anything with a face," Lena added on as she thought about it.

Scott thought about it for a minute, "She can do it."

"If we manage to find the thing," Isaac added on.

"Okay," Stiles cut in, "what is the point of him? Seriously, I mean, what is his purpose? Aside from the persistent negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf, anyway? It's sixty-five degrees out!"

"He's got a point, you are being a bit of a negative nancy," Lena added on in a quiet whisper as she looked up at Isaac who rolled his eyes exasperated.

"Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask-- how do we turn a coyote back into a girl when she hasn't been a girl in eight years?"

"I can do it," Scott assured.

"You can?" Stiles asked as he looked over at his friend.

"You remember the night that Peter trapped us in the school? In the gym, he was able to make me turn using just his voice. Deucalion did the same thing in the distillery."

"Oh, this is sounding like a bad idea," Lena muttered as she thought over it more.

"This is a Werecoyote, Scott. Who knows if it'll even work? If you can find someone who can teach you?" Deaton pointed out and Stiles straightened out as he realised his friends plan.

"That's why you called Derek first."

"Yeah, I could try it on my own... But, right now, I'm too scared to even change into just a Werewolf."

"We need a real Alpha," Stiles agreed and Scott looked over at him offended, "you know what I mean! An Alpha who can do Alpha things. You know, an Alpha who can get it going! You know, get it-" he struggled to find the words for it and so Isaac cut in with an effort to make it slightly better (an effort which didn't work).

"...Up?"

"Great. I'm an Alpha with... performance issues..." Scott sighed.

"Is there anyone else besides Derek who could help?" Deaton asked, looking between them.

"I wouldn't trust Peter..." Isaac said.

"Maybe the twins?" Stiles offered.

"They're not Alphas anymore. After what Jennifer did, almost killing them? It broke that part of them," Scott said.

"Yeah, but what if they know how to do it?"

"Nobody's seen them for weeks."

"Er...." Lena began, knowing there was a different ending to that particular conversation thread, "that's not exactly true..." she added on, and the four men looked at her confused, "I mean someone sort of might be sleeping with the straight one ye know?" She mumbled fast, bringing her hand to her head and turning away as she said it since she wasn't supposed to say it at all.

"What?" Stiles asked, immediately thinking that it was her herself who was doing so, "I thought you two were...are you exclusive?" He asked in dumb shock.
