Irene was born on March 29, 2000 and growing up, she was best friends with a girl named Park Soo-young who always went by Joy. The thing that was most similar about them was that they both wanted to become a kpop star and were both accepted into SM Entertainment when they were still 8 years old.
They were inseparable until middle school came up. Joy suddenly turned against Irene for no reason that she knew of and would always be made fun of by Joy with her new, more popular friends that were also more advanced in their years of being a trainee in other famous companies like JYP and YG.
It was now 2018 and it was time for Irene to forget about Joy and move on to attend Seoul National University where she could have a fresh start, or so she thought. She could finally live in peace...or so she thought.
