The second day after break, Joy's party came around and I entered the reserved club. I dressed in a white collar shirt, with a sparkly black jacket, a loose red tie, and some torn jeans.

I looked around the place and spotted Irene who was sitting at the bar with a glass of water in front of her while looking at her phone.

I walk over and she turns her head upward to face me.
"Hey! Nice outfit!" I have to shout above all the club music playing.
"Oh, thanks! You ended up not giving me the info on what to wear so I just guessed since this is a club." she replies.
"Yeah. At least your outfit is still much less revealing than others." we both chuckle. "Want to dance?"
"Uh, sorry but I'm waiting for Taehyung to arrive." she shrugs her shoulders and makes a face. "Oh, here he comes."
Taehyung walks over and puts an arm around Irene.
"Hey, babe." Taehyung says and Irene rolls her eyes. "Hey, Jin."
"Hey." I fake smile.
"Want to get on the dance floor?" Taehyung asks her while back hugging her.
"What else are we here for?!" she exclaims.
She hops off her chair and Taehyung leads her to the dance floor. I take the seat and order a beer and gulp it down. I sigh and spot Joy on the side observing before she walks up to me.

"You lonely?" she smiles at me.
"No. Just drinking by myself at a full club." I sarcastically say and she lets out a laugh.
"I didn't see Irene around. Did she come? I feel like I should at least apologize to her in person." Joy looks around.
"Um, yeah. She went out on the dance floor." she thanks me and goes searching again.
I close my eyes for a bit and all of a sudden I feel a swift wind rush out. I open my eyes and see Irene already headed out of the door.
*Irene's Perspective* 10:00 p.m., Friday night, during party
As Taehyung and I were dancing the night away, Joy taps on my shoulder and asks me if I can speak with her privately. I agree, expecting an apology and as we step off to the side she actually does apologize.
"Hey, so I'm sorry." she hesitates and then sighs.
"What for?" I cross my arms.
"Everything. I doubt you even know why I was always so mean." she looks down.
"I don't. But can you tell me? What did I do wrong to deserve years of desperation?" I can feel that I'm getting teary, really quickly.
"To be honest, nothing. When we were at the end of elementary school, I overheard some other trainees saying that you were so good at everything and that you were so beautiful. Which is fine and all, but then they said that I would never debut and that I was just an ugly mess. I never should've taken it out on you." she says. All these years, I thought I did something wrong, something unforgivable, but all along, it wasn't even me.
"Was it Soojin and Minju?" I ask.
"Yeah." she half-smiles.
"Well, if it was those two, you could definitely have beaten them up and ruined their lives." we both laugh.
"I don't deserve to be forgiven by you, but just know that you'll always have another person to help you out a bit." she tells me.
"Cool." I smile.
We walk back to the dance floor and I try to spot Taehyung. When I see him, I walk closer, only to see he's dancing with another girl. Not only that, but they were kissing. My jaw drops open and I run directly out of the bar. I slide down the wall of the club and just cry, while the sounds of the city remain around me. I didn't even like Taehyung, but I didn't go ahead and cheat on him. He was the one that wanted to get together in the first place. Soon after, someone sits down next to me and I turn to see Jin.
"Are you alright?" Jin asks me.
"I don't want to talk about it." I cry out.
"That's fine. Oh, did Joy apologize?" he looks at me.
"Yeah. We're cool now." I smile weakly.
"That's good." he looks at the sky.
"Do you want to leave?" he gets up and stretches a hand out to pull me up.
"Sure." I clean myself up a bit before grabbing his arm.
"I'm going to go in and tell Joy that we're leaving early." Jin says as he walks into the club again.
We head back to our dormitory and we both go into Jin's dorm. I go into the bathroom and clean my face and then we eat ramen at the table. Afterwards, I lead myself out of the place and get back to my own dorm and go to sleep.
The next day, I see Taehyung and I decide not to tell him about what I saw last night. I assume that he was just really drunk and tired and wasn't thinking. A few weeks after, I walk past the café and see Jin hanging out with another girl.
I took a closer look but didn't recognize her. I was pretty sure that her name was Jisoo or something, but I only saw her around campus. They looked out the window feeling the presence of someone staring at them and I immediately duck down. I feel really uneasy and quickly head to the nearest bathroom, in case anything happens afterwards. Before I left though, I could see that the girl kept on giggling and looking down. At this point, I realized I was only so jealous because of my crush on Jin. I hadn't thought about it before, but I hated the thought of Jin being with another girl.
A/N: for the part where its like "'was it soojin and minju?'", i chose very common korean female names so please do not think that i am badmouthing any kpop idols or just people with these names because i, in no means, am trying to bash anyone.
