A/N: I know that a whole year is a big time difference, but it only makes more sense if they get closer after a year.

It was almost winter break and everybody had just finished their midterms and were exhausted but happy at the same time. It was kind of awkward for Irene and Jin to work with each other, since although Irene did admit that she was comfortable with Jin, she still was really shy and distant from him. They met up with each other a few more times to parks, museums, and one time even a spa. They became a lot closer, but still had that awkward tension that they just couldn't seem to get rid of.

"Hey, so what are you doing for winter break?" Jin asked Irene, as they walked in the chilling wind.

"Um, I'm just going back home and I'm probably going ice sledding or something with my family." Irene answered. "You?"

"Don't know. I mean, I know I'm visiting my family, but not sure what else." Jin replied.

They continued walking and chatting until they came across the cluttered area of some of their classes.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Irene's relationship. Despite the not so fun interaction they had a while back, they had been paired up to work together on one of their class midterms. Irene was still skeptical about him, but they had gotten to know each other a bit while taking breaks from their work. They also started talking a lot more often.

"Oh, before break happens, I want to bring you somewhere." Jin says, as he remembers.

"Ok. When do you want to go?" Irene asks.

"Um, is after class good?" he asks, making sure.

"Yeah. So are you going to send me the address or are we taking the subway there?" Irene questions.

"Let's take the subway. It's something I want to show you in person." Jin answers.

"Great. We'll meet up in the subway station, right inside." Irene says.

"Cool." he says, as they walk to their next class in separate directions.

After class, Irene walked to the subway station, taking her time as well. She made it down and was just waiting for Jin to show up.

"Where is he?" Irene mumbled to herself.

Just then and there, a middle aged man, who seemed to be at least a little bit drunk, made his way over to Irene.

"Hey there, cutie." the creepy old man said.

"Um..." Irene found it terrifying, so she walked to the other side of the station, trying to get out of the uncomfortable environment.

"Where you going? Why don't you just sit right here and we can have a little talk." the man said, which made Irene feel even more anxious and uncomfortable.

"No thanks." she walked over to a nearby wall and just stood there while looking around for Jin.

The man pushed her up against the wall and Irene started screaming.
