"Jinnie Poo! What brings you here?" Joy says, while still making her way over to where I was standing.

"Um, I was just grabbing a cup of coffee." I say, confused if she knows about the post or not.

"Well, are you getting anything for that load of trash you're dating!?" Joy says, with fury taking over her face all of a sudden.

There it is. I think to myself.

"Who, Irene? I'm not dating her!" I shout.

"Well then what is this!" Joy points to the post just on her phone screen.

I can already see her tears slowly glazing her eyes as they trickle down like a waterfall. I don't know why though, we were never a thing anyways. However, I do know she had a crush on me; Chanyeol always told me at times to never come to his house because of it. What should I do now?

*random flashback to senior year of high school (still Jin point of view)*

"Hey, Jin. What are you doing?" Joy asks, smiling.

"Just looking at my phone, why?" I reply asking, finally looking up from my phone.

"Well, do you so happen to have a date to the prom?" Joy hesitantly spits out.

"No, why?" I question, still not catching on.

"Do you want to accompany me to the prom?" Joy proposes.

I knew that if I was to reject her, it would be too harsh and Joy would probably complain to Chanyeol. But if I were to accept her request, I would be lying to both her and me and Chanyeol would get really mad.

"Um, sorry, but, I was kind of planning on going to prom with my group of friends instead of with a 'date.'" I say, making things up on the spot.

"Oh, uh, no problem. But, if you weren't going with your friends, would you accept my promposal?" Joy asks, hoping for a positive answer.

"I don't really know, I mean, we are just friends, right?" I blabber out.

"Oh, well then sorry for bothering you. Bye, see you later." Joy says, rushed and kind of sad.

"Um, yeah, I'll catch up with you later." I say, feeling kind of bad.

Just like that, she walks away to her friends who are just ten feet away. They start comforting her, but I mean, rejection is just something you have to deal with in life. I know that she will understand that I didn't want to hurt her or lie to her by agreeing. Just as I feel like going over to her and saying sorry and accept her promposal, Chanyeol pats me on the shoulder and looks as to where I am staring at.

"Hey, Jin! What are you looking at? My sister?" he says, then scoffs.

"No, well yes, well it's confusing. She asked me out to prom and I said no because I said that I would be going with my friends this year. Then she asked me that if I wasn't going with my friends, would I say yes to her? And I might have been a little rude by saying no." I spill out.

"Good for you! Finally, you learn to reject and push away my annoying sister!" Chanyeol screams out of excitement.

Joy then looks over and sticks her tongue out at Chanyeol. He does the same back.

"Well yeah, but I still feel kind of mean." I reply.

"It's fine. Sometimes in life you're just going to have to say no to something and most of the time it's going to be a good thing. Especially when you're talking to my sister." Chanyeol says, mumbling that last sentence.
