One Of Them

Vale Docks

Y/N POV

Monday afternoon I walk down the streets of Vale again helping RWY find their missing teammate. As we walk the others call out for Blake.

Ruby: "Blaaaake!"

Yang: "Blaaaake!?"

Ruby: "Blaaaake!? Where are yoooou!? Weiss, you're not helping."

Weiss: "You know who can help? The police."

Ruby: "Ugh."

Weiss: "It was just an idea."

Ruby: "A really bad one."

Yang: "I think we should all hear her side before we start judging her."

Weiss: "I think when we hear it you all will see that I was right."

Penny: "And I think your hair is pretty today."

Y/N: "Good god!!! Where'd you come from!?"

Penny: "What're you guys doing?"

Yang: "We're looking for Blake."

Penny: "You mean the Faunus girl?"

Ruby: "How did you know?"

Penny: *points to head* "The cat ears."

Yang: "What cat ears? She wear a... bow."

Penny: "Where is she?"

Ruby: "We don't know. She's been missing since Friday."

Penny: "Well don't you worry, I won't rest until your friend is found."

Ruby: "That's very sweet of you Penny, but we got this covered. Right guys?"

I look and see Weiss and Yang are already gone.

Y/N: "Damn, they can give Batman a run for his money."

We walk down the street while Penny starts asking questions. 

Penny: "So Blake, she is your friend?"

Ruby: "Correct."

Penny: "But you're mad at her?"

Ruby: "I'm not, Weiss is."

Penny: "Is she also Blake's friend?"

Ruby: "That's kind of unknown at the moment."

Penny: "Why?"

Ruby: "Because Blake might not be who we thought she was."

Penny: *gasp* "Was she really a man?"

Y/N: "Ahhhh! I feel dirty now!"

Ruby: "No. We don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk before she decided to leave."

Penny: "If I had friends I'd want them to talk to me about things."

Ruby: "Me too."

We continue to walk down the street when we hear an explosion. We run to it to see Blake and that monkey fighting. I run to the fight and begin swinging. I backflip and kick a White Fanger away. I catch a sword aimed for my head and backhand its owner away. I quickly drop to the ground dodging a swing. I breakdance on my back and knock my attacker onto their back. I flip to my feet and land on their chest. 

I pivot and duck then uppercut another White Fanger. I side kick them and look to my right to see Roman Torchwick aiming his cane at me. I transform my arms and lunge towards him. I try to cut him but he raises his cane and blocks it. He then sparta kicks me away and I collide with a shipping container. I get up and get down on all fours. I transform my legs to a Sabyr's and rush towards Roman.

I limbo under his cane and grab his ankle. I lift him up and slam his face on the ground. He aims his cane at me but I hold out my hand and block his shot. I grab his cane and throw it to the side. I slam my fist down but he leans to the side and punches me backwards. I skid to a stop and see him escaping in a bullhead. I untransform my limbs and walk to the others as Police and WY arrives.

Ruby: "It's not what you think Weiss. She wears the bow to hide her cat ears which are actually really cute."

Blake: "Weiss, I want you to know that I have no ties with the White Fang. I haven't since I was a kid-"

Weiss: "Shush. We've spent twelve hours looking for you. And in those twelve hours I did some thinking and came to a decision. I don't care."

Blake: "You don't?"

Weiss: "You said you weren't connected with them right?"

Blake: "Yes, I-"

Weiss: "Upupup. I don't want to hear it. What I do want to hear is that next time something is bothering you, you'll say something to us."

Blake: "Okay, I will."

Ruby: "Aw yeah, team RWBY is back!"

Y/N: "Welcome back Balakay."

Blake: "It's Blake."

Y/N: *smiles* "Right."
