One Of Them

Y/N POV

I rake my claws to the right and cut the head off one Apathy. I limbo and cut a second Apathy's head in half. A third Apathy cuts open my back which allows a couple more to start ganging up on me. I groan in annoyance and transform into my humanoid Beowolf form. I roar at the Apathies and lunge at the horde. I bite on the neck of an Apathy and sling it into more Apathies while tearing off its head. I deploy my claws and do a full spin cutting down more Apathies. A bright light shines which makes the Apathies screech and me roar in pain. 

Creature: *in head* "Don't stop! Keep fighting!"

Y/N: *in head* "I can't!"

Creature: "Fine, I'll do it myself!"

3rd POV

The creature inside Y/N's head takes control and begins to morph Y/N's body. A thick layer of bone spikes grow on his back and six inch spikes grow from his elbows and dew claws. Y/N roars at the top of his lungs and lunges at the Apathy horde. He sinks his claws into the chest of one Apathy and throws it into another Apathy. He slams his elbow spike back and impales a third Apathy; he reaches back and crushes its head with his jaws. The light shines again and kills the Apathies while knocking Y/N unconscious. Yang punches open the door while Ruby and Weiss grab Y/N and carry him to the trailer. Yang peels away from the area and down the road when Maria speaks up.

Maria: "What's going on with him?"

Ruby: "My eyes hurt him."

Maria: "So he's part Grimm?"

Ruby: "Yes, but it's a long story."

Blake: "You knew? How long?"

Ruby: "Since yesterday, but that's besides the point. He risked his life to save us and now he's hurt, we need to get him some medical attention."

Suddenly Ruby's scroll ring.

Ruby: "Hello? Jaune! The city?"

She holds out her scroll and looks forward to see a hill. Yang revs up it and all the heroes smile seeing Argus. They park and immediately see team JNPR waiting for them. 

Jaune: "Hey guys."

Ruby: "Jaune listen, we need to get Y/N help."

Jaune: "Follow me."

They're led to a house where they enter to see one of Jaune's sisters, Saphron. Saphron leads Ruby to a spare room where she takes care of him. Some time later Saphron comes down stairs much to the relief of everyone.

Ruby: "How is he?"

Saphron: "He's got some pretty bad burns but I cleaned and patched them up. All he needs now is to just rest."

Ruby: "Thank Oum."

Weiss: "Hey Ruby, can I ask you a question?"

Ruby: "Sure."

Weiss: "After we train wrecked, why were you and Y/N crying?"

Yang: "Yeah, I was wondering that."

Ruby: *pauses then breathes* "Brace yourselves for what I'm about to tell you."

Ruby fully explains everything she saw from Jinn which shocks everyone to say the least.

Pyrrha: "So Salem raised him?"

Ren: "And he was in love?"

Ruby: "Yes. He loved Scarlett and feared telling her about his power."

Qrow: "But because of not telling her she learned the hard way and that led to her death by his hands."

Ruby: "Despite transforming to save her the fear she felt made the Grimm within him see her as prey."

Nora: "That's sad on so many levels."

Yang: "Yeah, killing your girlfriend all because something inside you told you to."

Jaune: "Why didn't he tell us any of this?"

Ruby: "He had his memories suppressed but yesterday they came back."

They look down in sadness when Ruby breaks the sad atmosphere.

Ruby: "I'm gonna go check and make sure he's okay."

She turns around and begins heading to the room Y/N's in.

*meanwhile in Y/N's head his POV*

I look around at my void surroundings until that yellow eyed creature appears.

Y/N: "What's going on? Why aren't I awake?"

Creature: "Because we have matters to discuss."

Y/N: "I'm not going to talk, especially to someone like you."

Creature: "You're such a stubborn brat. I granted you incredible power and you're throwing it all away."

Y/N: "I never asked to be granted this power."

Creature: "You're gonna use this power whether you like it or not."

Y/N: "No."

Creature: "Then you leave me no choice."

Y/N: "What're you talking about?"

Creature: "I'm taking control." 

3rd POV

The creature makes its eyes shine and Y/N begins thrashing in his bed. His arms fade to smoke and reform into Beowolf arms; his legs bend and snap until they take the form of a Sabyr's. Finally the left side of his face molds into a Alpha Beowolf's with the section in between the halves looking like the Alpha Beowolf is bursting out of his kin. He opens his eyes with his left one being scorching red and roars in a distorted tone. Y/N jumps off his bed and out the window into the streets of Argus.
