One Of Them

The Library

Y/N POV

I sit in the library looking at my hand and map out my plan. I look over and see Ruby and Yang having a solid poker face. I smile and look back at Ruby who matches my smile.

Ruby: "Y/N L/N, prepare for war!"

Y/N: "Bring it girly!"

Ruby: "I use the Atlesian fleet."

Y/N: "Oh!!?"

Ruby: "I get to fly right over your troops and attack you directly."

Y/N: "You're approaching me? Instead of retreating, you're coming right to me?"

Ruby: "Can't beat you without getting closer."

Y/N: "Then come as close as you want. I deploy Wyvern!"

Ruby: "Whaaaaat!!!?"

Y/N: "If I get a five or higher my Wyvern burns all of your troops to ashes."

Ruby: "But get four or lower and the Wyvern will turn on you and kill your troops instead."

Y/N: "I'm felling lucky."

I grab the dice and roll. I laugh getting a eight.

Ruby: "Noooo! My fearless soldiers!"

Y/N: "Eh they were mostly tin toys."

Ruby: "Farewell, you will be avenged."

Y/N: "Not until I collect my rewards which have doubled due to trading."

Ruby: "Boo!"

Y/N: "Oh!? A secret route free from bandits!?"

Ruby: "Bah humbug."

Y/N: "And now two of your cards are mine."

Ruby: "Waaaaaa!"

Y/N: "Don't disappoint me Yang."

Yang: "I choose Mistral assassins!"

She rolls a five and laughs.

Y/N: "Damn it!!"

Yang: "Yes, your troops have been killed leaving your southern base open. I now deploy Atlas Paladins."

She laughs as her troops move forward right to my kingdom walls.

Yang: "Surrender and I just might spare you."

Y/N: "Not on your life girly. I use Atlesian air fleet to rain fire on your troops."

Yang: "You mad man, you'll kill your own troops!"

Y/N: "I will save my kingdom!!"

I roll the dice and land a nine. 

Y/N: "Farewell brothers, your sacrifice will be remembered."

Yang: "Well Weiss, your turn."

Weiss: "I'm so lost."

Yang: "You're playing as Vacuo which means all Vacuo cards are yours."

Weiss: "Ok."

Yang: "Being Vacuo means your troops have a boost against natural hazards which means you can use sandstorm to wipe out Y/N's remaining troops and infiltrate his kingdom."

Y/N: "If you do then I will show no mercy."

Weiss: "And with all that?"

Ruby: *sobbing* "You can conquer Remnant in the next three moves."

Weiss: *laughs* "Yes, fear my soldier's might and cry as they take your childre-"

Y/N: "Hidden bomb."

Weiss: "Huh?"

Y/N: *plays card* "I used a hidden minefield which blew up your troops leaving you without an army."

Weiss: "Why must we play our emotions!!?"

Ruby: "Stay with me Weiss, we're in this together."

Weiss: "Shut up, don't touch me."

Jaune: "Hey, can I play?"

Ruby: "Sorry but we already got four players."

Weiss: "Besides this game requires a certain level of planning, which I doubt you have."

Y/N: "Coming from the girl who destroyed her own fleet on her first turn."

Jaune: "I'll have you know I've been told I have great leadership."

Weiss: "By who? Your mom?"

Y/N: "It's actually whom."

Jaune: "Also Pyrrha."

Pyrrha: "Hello again."

Jaune: "Come on let me play a hand."

Y/N: *hands three cards* "Here. Play these when you think it would be best."

Jaune: "Sweet."

Monkey: "Sup losers."

I look and yank his tail.

Monkey: "What the hell!!!?"

Y/N: "Call me that again and I'll cut off your tail."

Monkey: "Okay!"

Ruby: "What're you doing here Sun?"

Sun: "I never got to show my best friend."

Friend: "Aren't you supposed to read in libraries?"

Y/N: "Neeeeerrrrdddd!"

Neptune: "Intellectual actually. I'm Neptune."

Weiss: "So where're you from Neptune?"

Neptune: "And just who might you be my snow angel?"

Weiss: "I'm Weiss."

Neptune: "Pleasure to meet you."

Sun: "You playing Blake?"

Blake: "No. I'll see you guys later."

She walks away and heads off to somewhere. Later that night I manage to rank up in my game when I hear a door close. I turn off my console and look out my window to see team RWBY heading out of Beacon. I hop out my window and land in the courtyard. I hold out my arms and turn them to Nevermore wings. I flap them and take to the sky after team RWBY. I follow after Blake and Sun to have them lead me to a big warehouse.
