One Of Them

The Breach

Y/N POV

I look up at the cracked moon when I hear barking. I look and see the dog Ruby smuggled come running to us. 

Blake: "What's happening?"

Oobleck: "Gather your things, I fear Miss Rose may need our assistance."

We head out of our base and follow the dog which leads us to a large hole in the ground.

Yang: "Ruby's scythe."

Weiss: "You don't think she fell do you?"

Oobleck: "By Oum, how could I have been so stupid."

Blake: "What?"

Oobleck: "Mountain Glenn. An expansion of Vale that was ultimately wiped out by Grimm. The city was home to thousands of citizens. Citizens with jobs, going to the city, the main city. They made a subway system to help them get to the main city. With the increase of Grimm attacks the population was in danger. They were left desperately searching for shelter. Citizens moved to the train tunnels only to find what? The south-east section of Vale is infamous for its wild forests and deep caves."

Yang: "What're you trying to say?"

Oobleck: "We've been looking for an UNDERGROUND crime network."

Blake: "So they've been working form caves?"

Oobleck: "Not quite. Mt. Glenn was the first serious expansion attempt by Vale. For awhile it worked. The city developed a complex subway system to help keep its citizens safe while they traveled to the main kingdom. However, without the natural barriers Vale provided, Mt. Glenn was doomed to fail. As the end neared, the citizens made a last ditch effort to survive. They sought refuge underneath the very city."

Yang: "An underground village?"

Oobleck: "In a way, yes. A safe space until an explosion opened another cave that was filled with a type of subterranean Grimm. Shortly after the kingdom made the decision to seal the tunnels creating the largest tomb know to Remnant. If Miss Rose is down there then we must save her."

I jump down the hole and slam Beowolf claws into the side of the wall. I slow down enough to land safely and run down the long tunnel. I finally arrive at a train station where I see numerous White Fang. I look forward and see Ruby running to me; she reaches me as the others arrive and hand her her scythe.

Yang: "Are you okay?"

Ruby: "Yeah but listen. Torchwick's got all sorts of weapons and robots on that train."

P.A: "Load up we're moving!"

The train begins pulling away which makes us hop aboard.

Weiss: "What's this?"

We look and see a metal device.

Oobleck: "That... is a bomb."

Ruby: "We've got baddies."

Oobleck: "Silly for thinking they'd-" 

We look down and see the bomb beeping.

Oobleck: "Go easy, time to leave. Blake detach the caboose."

We hop to the next car when the caboose begins pulling away. It then blows up which makes Oobleck run to the next car.

Oobleck: "They all have bombs!"

The new caboose pulls away which forces us to jump to Oobleck. I look back and see it explode and create a large hole. Grimm then fall from that hole and chase after the train.

Oobleck: "You four get inside to try and stop this train. Me and Ruby shall stay up here and take care of the rebels." 

We nod and head to the front of the train. By the time we get there the train plows through the streets of Vale. I stumble to my feet and look around to see Grimm flooding the streets. I am hit with a wave of fear which makes my insides tingle. I develop a large sinister smile before seeing the world go black.

3rd POV 

Y/N drops to the floor and he screams in pain. His body twists and thrashes as he once again transforms into his humanoid Beowolf form. After transforming he stands up and lets out a load roar which makes a pack of Beowolves stop and match his roar. They all charge at him while he reels back his claws and lunges at them.
