One Of Them

Highway Rumble

Y/N POV

I turn my arms back to normal and peek inside the skylight. I look around until I see Roman Torchwick walking onto a stage. 

Woman: "Why is a human here?"

Roman: "I'm so happy you asked. I'll be the first to admit that us humans are the worst. So I understand that you would love nothing more than to see all of us put in cells or better killed. I would like for it to be known that you and I have the same enemy. The people in power. The ones who run everything from the kingdoms to the military. These are the people who are to blame for your place in society. They are pest that need to go. Luckily I'm the best exterminator, no offense to any rodent Faunus here."

He motions to a curtain which when dropped shows a huge robot chocked full of weaponry.

Roman: "To those of you who missed it, this is Atlas' newest toy to help keep everyone safe. My gracious employer has given us a few before they were made public. Some of your brothers and sisters are already in our base of operations in the southeast. Should you want to stay here that is fine. But if you really want to fight for your beliefs then this is what you will be given. Are there any questions?"

The crowd begins thinning out which exposes Blake and Sun. Roman begins making his way to them when Blake shoots the power box taking out the lights. I hear clamoring then glass breaking. I look over the ledge to see Blake and Sun running away. I then spot that giant robot chasing after them. I transform my arms and take flight again. I flap my wings and manage to catch up with the robot. 

I look down and see Weiss jump onto the highway then make a sheet of ice. The robot steps on it and slips off the highway. I divebomb after the robot and land as it gets up. I turn my arms into Beowolf arms and lunge at the robot. I swing my claws and cut deep into the robot's side. The robot grabs my waist and tosses me to the side. I use my claws to swing around a pillar and use more of my power. I turn into an Ursa Major and charge at the robot. 

I stand on my hind legs and slash its face. The robot punches me away making me land on my back. I look up to see RWBY aiming their weapons. I get to my feet and turn into a large hulking humanoid Grimm I like to call Juggernaut. I run at the robot and we lock hands in a stalemate. Ruby and Blake run to the robot and each slice into its back. I punch the robot's face and hold out its left arm. Ruby fires her scythe and cuts the arm off.

The robot gut punches me and kicks me away. I burst into smoke and turn into a Sabyr. I pounce on the robot and tear into its armor. Yang backs me up by jumping onto the robot's back and punching it. The robot jumps back and slams Yang through two pillars. Her hair turn golden and she punches the robot's remaining fist to smithereens. The robot kicks her away and sends her colliding with her teammates.

I turn into a basilisk like Grimm and slither to the robot. I coil my body around it and begin squeezing it. The metal groans and creaks as I hear a scream from inside the robot. The main hatch blows open and a man is ejected. I look and see Roman dusting himself off.

Roman: "It's going to be a real hassle getting this thing cleaned."

I roar at him and turn back into the Grimm Juggernaut. I run at him when a small girl jumps to him and makes them both shatter. I look around and see those two getting away in a bullhead. I growl to myself before turning away to see team RWBY walking to me. 

Ruby: "What are you?"

I look down at her before bursting into a miniature Nevermore and flying away.

Ruby POV

Ruby: "What was that thing?"

Yang: "I don't know but whatever it was seemed smart enough to help us."

Weiss: "That's pretty intelligent for a Grimm."

Blake: "I don't think that was a regular Grimm."

Ruby: "Yeah, it could shape shift. Plus something about it felt familiar."
