The Reunion ~ A Herophine Fanfiction

Part of me is nervous for tomorrow. I've no idea why. I've met all of these people before and I love them all so much. But it's been ages, over a year since I've seen any of them. Everyone has their own lives to live, including me, including Hero.
He's been busy with his brand stuff and I'm proud of what he's doing. I've done another film with Netflix called Moxie. Although I'm not a lead role, it was nice to be back doing some filming and also nice to not be in the full spotlight and not be lead for a bit. I don't really do social media either, I never really have. I stopped doing it all together and stopped posting anything over 2 years ago. There was no point. Ever since 'After', my life has never stopped, but I love it. Therefore, as well I'm generally scared that my phone might blow up because of how many fan edits or fan art or news things are about me and or Hero. I love the 'After' fans so so much but it can be overwhelming and I know Hero feels exactly the same way.

Hero will be on the plane now. He text me when he was at his mum's to say he was getting a taxi to the airport. That was 4 hours ago. I'm glad we kept in touch after filming the 'After' series. I think it would be weird not to as we became such good friends. We're so comfortable with each other and we always get asked about our onscreen 'chemistry'. To be honest, I think it's definitely developed over time as we became better friends and we became much more comfortable with each other and in each other's presence.

My little apartment in LA is tidy and neat. Just the way I want it to be when I return. Something I tried to take away from filming in 'After' was my characters neatness. As I repeatedly folded Hardin's/Hero's T-shirts for a shot. I have tried to be in Tessa's mindset for being tidy and prepared. But if you ask anyone, I'm not as tidy as Tess.

I'm flying over to New York in a few hours. My flight is at 10:45pm.
Hopefully I'll be arriving around the same time as Hero, so around 7am. Well that's the plan anyway. We decided it would be nice to do it that way. Arrive together in true film lead role style. I want to say a bit like Hero's 21st birthday. But nothing like that at all. It was all a bit of mess. The paparazzi was crazy and we made the mistake of arriving together as we had already been with each other before the party. So of course that sparked rumours that me and Hero were dating. We're not! We have a great friendship and trustworthy professional relationship. I wouldn't have picked another person to spend my time filming the 'After' series with. He's the best. When he does finally get a girlfriend, she will be spoiled rotten by him. Hero is the most gentle, kind, loyal person and I couldn't have got through filming without his support or patience.

Part of me has no idea what is going to happen at this party tomorrow or any of the days following. But I do know that I will have a great time. My bags are packed. I have my garment bags ready. Again like Hero, I'm spending a week over in New York. I'm glad he could come for a longer period of time as he hasn't gone anywhere since we were filming 'After Ever Happy.' Even that seems so long ago and it was only last year.
