I watch Hero go and pick up his cap he flung off his head when we came in. I'm glad he broke this comfortable but unbearable silence. Since we've just experienced what we experienced together, I'm now in thought. Although I know I probably shouldn't tell Hero this now because I've no idea how he will react or even if he will say it back. But it feels right and I need to set the line as to where I'm at with my feelings towards him and he needs to be aware of them. "Hero?" I say before moving to stand up from the bed which causes it to make some noise and he turns to look at me. "Yeah?" He has a small frown on his face like he's trying to work out what I'm thinking and feeling but it's accompanied by a sexy crooked smile. Well here goes nothing I guess.
"I love you".

As I thought, Hero just stared at me and doesn't move. His mouth open a little and he looks so out of it. I falter my smile as the knowledge that he doesn't feel the same way I do sinks in and I look down at the ground. "I love you too Jo". Oh thank fuck. Heros arms are spread wide inviting me in and he has a big goofy smile on his face showing his beautiful dimples. I rush into them and bury my head into his chest as I feel him kiss the top of my head. I'm so happy right now and I've been so in the moment that I forgot Shane. Fuck. "I need to go" I say sadly but with a bit of hesitance. "Shit! Sorry I've made you late for whatever you were going to do" Hero apologises quickly and I look up at him with my chin on his chest. "Don't worry, I'd have this excuse and reason to be late any time" I laugh as I remove myself from his arms and starting to head to the door to exit Hero's room. "I must go though" I say, even though I really don't want to. I can hear Hero quietly following me and as I'm about to reach the door he grabs my hand causing me to face him. "Jo?"
"Yeah?"
His lips come to mine in a soft kiss. "I just wanted to do that" he says against my lips. I kiss him back deeply and passionately before finally saying goodbye and hurrying to the lift before I stay longer .

"Where the hell were you?" Shane asks immediately as I step out of the lift and nearly walk into him, "sorry I dozed off" was my reasonable excuse. He huffs before telling me that the other guys are having a boys get together for lunch. I wonder if Hero's going, he probably is as it's his sort of thing. "So tell me the real reason as to why your 20 minutes late?" As we get our coffees and sit at a small table by one of the large floor to ceiling windows. Shit. I should that Shane wouldn't fall for it. "I was with Hero" I just tell him straight. Shane raises his eyebrows and a confused look crosses his face as it turns to a slight frown. "I would give you that excuse if we were filming, but we're not!" Thanks for the reminder Shane. "So why were you with him?" I let out a sigh and fight around in my brain for another excuse.
There's no way I'm telling Shane I was with Hero and we were doing bits. Oh yeah so I was with Hero and he was just fingering me in his bathroom and we were getting each other off while you were here waiting for me. Fuck no.

"I was going towards the lift and he came out of his room all stressed. I asked him what was wrong and he just said like personal family stuff and that he'd lost his phone charger somewhere. So I went back to my room and let him borrow mine before I found his down the side of his bed where he'd left it when I came back with mine and plugged it in. I asked him if he wanted to talk about the personal stuff and he did a little bit, but that was it." Honesty so proud of myself for coming up with that. I sip on my coffee, hiding the small smile that is playing in my lips from my little achievement. Chance sighs and doesn't bring it up again. We talk about anything and everything. How we're both really excited for tonight even though we have no idea what's going to happen. Chance tells me the new projects he's been working on and I tell him about Moxie. He says he's actually seen it and watched it to be a supportive friend. Well that's more than Hero did, but I don't expect people to watch it if it's not their kind of film and just because I'm in it.

After suddenly realising that it's 4:30, we both quickly make our way upstairs to get ready for tonight. I take a quick shower and blow dry my hair, before getting my curlers. I do my make up, light and minimal but with some red glittery eye shadow to go with my dress that I'm going to be wearing. I curl my hair lightly and make sure I fix the curls so they will stay in, at least for a couple of hours. I finally step into my lovely dress. I didn't want to go all out, but I did want it to look special. It's a lovely deep red, with a red embroidered floral pattern and it's sparkly so it will catch the light. I check the time again, just to make sure I'm not late. It's 5:45 so I should probably head down to greet everyone.

I double and triple check that I have everything I need before making my way to exit the room. I have a little read shoulder bag with my phone, all charged and my key card.
As I'm closing my door in the corridor, I hear one word. It comes from the very tall and very handsome looking, Hero.  "Wow!"
