It's been so fun catching up with the girls and having few drinks. I'm not drunk by any means but let's just say I'm a little tipsy. Hero has been by the bar with the boys since they arrived. But I can't stop thinking about our closeness in the jacuzzi. If Anna hadn't appeared when she did, who knows what could have gone down. Inanna is practically bouncing in her seat beside Khadijha. I know she really wants to do something other than sit around and chat as much as we like to do that.
"Why don't we all go for a swim?" Hero calls from across the room. Clearly he can see Inanna's giddiness from over there. "I've not been to the pool on the roof on this floor and I'd like to check it out!" he says as he begins to stand. I'm not sure if he's really drunk and really good at hiding that he's drunk because I don't really fancy a swim at 9pm so he's clearly crazy if he thinks people will actually agree. "Won't it be cold?" Pia slightly slurs as she asks uncertainty. Bless Pia, she's a bit of a light weight. There's no why she will be going in a pool or near water tonight. "I don't think so it's probably heated" Dylan 'Ahole' laughs. "It's that kind of hotel". Dyls is probably right I'm pretty sure it will be warm.

We all decided to give it ago or at least go outside. It might be nice to get some fresh air as well. I go up to change into swimwear just in case I change my mind and go in last minute. Not all of us are on the 40th floor with me and Hero and Anna. Some of us have been given rooms on the 35th and 37th floor. I head out with Shane and Anna. I take a seat on one of the sun beds next to the pool between Pia and Khadijha. Hero isn't out here yet and I'm kind of glad. Even though I don't know why, I feel like there is some unexplainable tension between us. When Hero finally does appear, he's one of the last of the group to join us outside. I keep my head down and don't look at him and indulge in a conversation with Khadijha.

I hear a splash and my head shoots up. Hero is bent over laughing and flexing his muscles. God he's toned up in the last year. Sam's head pops up from the water. "What the fuck man?" It takes me a minute to put together what happened as I wasn't looking. Hero, playful as always, either pushed or picked up Sam and he fell in the pool. In the split second, I see Sprousey push Hero who flaps his arms wildly and screams a little before toppling into the pool himself. I bite back a giggle but I can't contain it and I burst out laughing. "Served you right!" Shouts Khadijha from my side. The boys spend about another half an hour pushing each other into the pool and messing around, typical boys. Anna and Inanna sit on the edge and dip their feet in for no more than two seconds.
I'm suddenly faced with a slightly damp Hero coming towards me. He stops in front of me and holds out his hand. What the fuck is he doing? "Go on Jo!" He says to me. I sort of want to go in, but I really don't want it to be cold or to be messed around. "Go on, it's warm!" He seems to be insisting, although I'm not sure whether it's about taking his hand or going in the water. I sigh and take it and start to walk towards the pool. "As long as you don't throw me in or anything!" I say to him. "I won't" is his almost immediate answer. An answer I'm not entirely convinced about. He wouldn't pull a weird stunt in front of all these guys would he? We're still unsure as to what going on between us and we haven't seen spoken about it, the tension is almost unbearable and I don't even know if it's sexual.

It seems as though I spoke to soon, Hero picks me up from behind and I squeal. "Hero-Hero what are you doing? Put me dow-!" I should be happy about this but I'm not. Yes this is the same style pick up Hero did in filming the New Years Eve party for 'After We Collided'. Yes I have said previously in interviews that it was one of my favourite scenes to film in that movie because I enjoyed being picked up. Yes the majority of the people on this roof with us were there, either in the scene or behind the scenes so I've no idea what is going through their minds right now.
I land in the water with a splash. I come up for air already glaring. "Hero what the fuck?" I yell. Oh I'm so fucking pissed. He's chuckling and as much as I'd normally adore the sight of that, I'm certainly not in the mood. "I didn't say I promise I wouldn't throw you in now did I?" God he's such a fucking cocky arse. Who the hell does he think he is doing something like that? I get out the pool and I made an effort to over exaggerate a huff so people knew I was pissed off. I wrap my towel around me which is very uninviting as it's cold. "To clarify it's warm!" I say before plopping down on a sun bed.

I head back inside with Anna and Sam. I'm not in the mood for anymore socialising tonight, no way. I say good night to Sam and me and Anna continue in the lift to our floor. "I can't believe he did that" Anna says. Even she is pissed with Hero and she's never pissed at anyone. I can't wrap my head around why he would do that to me over anyone else. Is he trying to prove something? Trying to prove something to someone else? Maybe him and one of the other guys are having a competition because they both like me and they are seeing who I'd rather go with! God it sounds like real life Tessa in After. I don't fucking know.
"Me neither" I reply to Anna whilst retracting from my own thoughts. "He has some fucking nerve" she continues. I've only seen Anna like this a few times and it's very rare that she gets upset or angry. We reach my room and I allow Anna in. I jump in the shower quickly as I'm shivering and pull on some warm pyjamas and my dressing gown. We both sit on my bed and decide on watching some probably shitty movie on Netflix. It's a soppy romantic drama thing which I'm not really interested in but it was the only thing that looked good. Moxie my new movie popped up as we were scrolling and also 'After' of fucking course. I glance sideways without moving my head to see Anna trying to read my expression at seeing 'After' on the screen. My heart sinks as I look at the cinematic image it is portraying for the title. The lake scene. Hero's hand is holding up my head as our lips are parted before we kiss. We were happy and it was so fun to shoot. Friendship was all that mattered to us and sticking together and we didn't take any notice of fans wanting us to be together and shipping us, but now things are so different and so complicated even though me and Hero haven't spoken about it.

We're about half way through this film, and to be honest it's not that bad. I just felt like watching a romance movie to compliment my non existent and bad love life right now. Anna is about to leave to go to her room for the night and neither of us said good night to any of the others. "I'm just going to go down for a bit" she's saying "you know to be nice and all that just to say night otherwise it would be considered rude" you know who's being considered rude right now Anna. Hero! "Okay" I say before lying back on my bed and kicking off my slippers. Anna said I don't have to go down so I won't, simple as that. I tell Anna to tell any of the girls that are downstairs that I'm in bed and that I don't want to talk to anyone. She leaves and then I'm in silence, not that my mind is a helpful companion because it's telling me to watch 'After' so I can reminisce good times with the cast and Hero. What could go wrong? Other then I've only watched it once when it came out 3 years ago. As it's just me I think it will be fine and probably cringe.

I settle in my bed and get cozy. I'm up to the lake scene when I hear a knock on the door. I pause the film right when I'm picking up Hardin's T-shirt and silently pray it's Anna on the other side of my door. She's probably just coming back to check on me before she goes to sleep. I climb out of the bed and quietly walk over to peep through the spy hole in the door. It's that mother fucking son of a bitch. It's Hero.
