Now I've finished that cheesy movie and I'm only 2 hours into my flight. I know that if I sleep on the plane, it will better prepare me for the jet lag and the day to come when I arrive. As I'm arriving in the early morning, there is probably enough time for me to have a nap if I need to, in my hotel room. Honestly you would think that we hired the whole hotel just for us lot. We didn't, but the booking people said we might as well have. There were only 2 other rooms booked that wasn't any of our people. Lucky them I guess!
The movie I just watched wasn't all the bad. It was just some old Romcom action movie. However whilst I was watching it, I couldn't help but think that Jo would like it. We all used to tease her, that she was like an old grandma. In many interviews, she talked about her love for old movies and music. Torturing is not the right word I'd use to describe what it was like listening to Jo's music taste and agreeing to watch movies with her. But it made her happy. As her friend, I was more than happy to oblige to sit with her through one when no one else would. Part of me ended up actually liking them by the end of filming. To also go through a silly amount of Eurovision rewatching too. Jo is a bit obsessed with that program.
I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I'm able to have a very comfy flight. Because of that I'm going to take some time to sleep. I've set my alarm so I'll wake up an hour before landing. Otherwise I might miss it and who knows what would happen.

That fucking alarm...I don't even know why I set it. It's so fucking annoying. Then everyone looks at you because your making noise and it's awkward as hell. Now I'm just sat here in a very self conscious state. Not a lot of people know I'm actually quite shy. Once I'm comfortable with people it's okay but it's just a part of my nature. It's ridiculous how many times I've heard that fans gush over my accent. What they don't know is that's I just get teased for it. I know I was the only English non-American person in filming. But have they never heard a Londoner or Englishman speak before? Part of me does get it. I know my accent is a lot thicker than most. But it makes me proud. Proud to say where I'm from.
It's now 6:30am in New York and I've got half an hour to go until this flight touches down. I'm hopefully meeting Jo at the airport. We co coordinated our flights to arrive around the same time. Anna is going to meet us at the hotel as she is already there apparently.
