The Reunion ~ A Herophine Fanfiction

I walk over to where my cap is laying on the floor, when I had thrown it off my head when me and Jo entered the room. I hear Jo move from the bed squeaking. "Hero?" She says as I put my cap back on my head and turn to face her. "Yeah?" I asked giving her a small crooked smile which she returns. "I love you"
At first I don't quite register what she's saying. But then it dawns on me that I had no reason to ever be worried about her feelings towards me and whether Jo felt the same. I see her smile dim slightly as I haven't responded. God I'm so dumb. "I love you too Jo" I say while I open my arms and smiling the widest and most genuine smile ever as the words roll off my tongue like they are the most natural thing in the world. Jo practically runs into my arms and buries her head into my chest before tightening her arms around my torso. I kiss the top of her head, still reeling in the words that we have just uttered to each other. "I need to go" she says hesitantly. I had almost forgotten that she had clearly been on her way somewhere when I brought her in here. "Shit! Sorry I've made you late for whatever you were going to do" I apologise as she brings her head up to look at me. "Don't worry, I'd have this excuse and reason to be late any time" Jo chuckles before pulling herself from my arms. "I really must go though" she clarifies before walking towards my door. I quietly follow her and gently grab her hand, causing her to face me. "Jo?"
"Yeah?" She asks as my lips come to hers in a short but sweet kiss. "I just wanted to do that" I mumble against her lips as I feel them turn into a smile. We share one last deep kiss before saying our goodbyes and she disappears out the door.

I walk over and flop down on my bed still in my daydream of Jo. I pick my phone up from where I had chucked it on the bed. I have 2 messages, one from Sam and one from Carter.

Sam: Hey boys, fancy a lunch get together? Meet in the lobby in 15!  | 5 mins ago

Carter: H, u going the lunch gathering with the guys? | 2 mins ago

Thankfully neither of those messages made me feel like I was late. I text them both back and say that I'll go. It will be nice to just be with the guys for a while before everyone departs to spend hours getting ready for tonight like they normally do. I go back into the bathroom and run a brush over my hair to stop it looking like someone has tangled their fingers in it, which is the truth. I decide on going downstairs early because I have nothing else to do and head out of my room and to the lift. There's no one around so I'm guessing everyone is just doing their own thing. I know Jo obviously had something to do and it's probably with someone else maybe Anna but I don't know. I reach the ground floor and make my way into the lobby.

There's no one there when I get there, so I take a seat in one of the armchairs and wait. Shortly after I'm joined by Carter, Chance and Swen. We make our way up the restaurant, where we're meeting the other guys. Our lunch is basic and it's mainly just talking about the evening ahead. I learn from varies people that there will be a luxurious evening meal and then following by all night partying. A karaoke, DJ, games and drinks. All good fun and I'm well excited.
It seemed at though Shane hadn't joined us and I hear from Sam that he was busy doing something else. I can't help but wonder that maybe that's who Jo was going to see. They are very Tessa and Landon like, with coffee dates that they used to go on when we were filming in Atlanta. We finish up and realise that it's 3:30pm and we should all probably get ready for tonight as our meal is at 6pm.

We are depart for our rooms and I drop by the 'laundry' to pick up my pressed clothes. The blazer I'm wearing tonight has been pressed and looks a hell of a lot better than it did when I first looked at it after my flight over. When I get back to my room, I take a long shower and shampoo my hair twice before conditioning it. I dry my hair with the hairdryer that is installed in the bathroom before gelling it up in my favourite way. I shave my face and put some moisturiser on because you know, your mans gotta look fresh! I change into my tailored black trousers and plain white v neck T-shirt. I leave my blazer off because I don't want it to get creased so I'll put it on just before I go down. My chains I always wear are round my neck, like the one of a scorpion because I'm proud of my star sign. I've opted for just a pristine white pair of trainer which I got new specifically for this event, even though I know they won't be white by the evenings end.

I check the time and it's 5:45 so I should probably head down. I take my blazer off it's hanger and slip it on before spraying myself with my beloved Ferragamo aftershave. I love working with the brand, hats off to them for the best scent ever!
I leave my room but not without making sure my phone is charged to a reasonable percentage as I know I'll be taking pictures for memories of tonight and also that I have my key card zipped in the inside pocket of my blazer. As I'm closing my door, I hear another door close nearby. I know now without even second guessing that it's Jo's room. I look towards the sound and my mouth drops open.

"Wow!" And she really looked it too.
