Me and Jo are now in the taxi on the way to our hotel that Anna has picked. I'm faced with the lovely sunny streets of New York. I can't express how much I have missed being in America or any part of the world that's isn't the UK really. As I glance over at Jo, she is just like me. Staring out of the window and looking at the sights, her blue eyes wide with awe. Her hoodie is back ok now and I can't help but think it looks vaguely familiar.

"Jo where's your hoodie from?" The question just popped in to my mind and I can't help but ask her. I can see the pink form more on her cheeks. Is she blushing?
Her eyes are trying to look anywhere but mine. I mean I understand that looking into someone's eyes can be intense but it's not like she hasn't done that many times.
"It's yours Hero." Is the only 3 words I can hear. I'm not sure if she said any more. So that's why it's so familiar. I sort of remember allowing her to borrow it when she was cold during a night out with the cast and crew during filming. Only because I'm a gentleman of course.
"Oh...it suits you." My mind speaks for me. It does suit her. It's oversized and hugs her like a dress. Jo looks a little embarrassed. I say a little. A lot. After a reassuring smile that I give her "You can keep it" I clearly haven't missed that hoodie much, to hardly remember that I gave it to her or to ask for it back.
"Are you sure?" I continue to look out the window and realise that we are already near our hotel. I just nod over dramatically so she knows I'm sure and I hear the laughter come from her mouth.

The hotel we are staying in, we have hired 2 large joining reception rooms that both have bars and one has a dance floor. The hotel had roof top pool and seating area. The staff said we are able to use the outside as well and they have blocked it off for us. Like I said there are only 2 rooms booked that don't belong to a member of our group. So we basically have the entire hotel to ourselves.

The hotel is as amazing as the photos that Anna had sent us. To be honest the photos don't do it justice. As suspected there were some paparazzi on the door step. Since me and Jo are both so used to it now. It doesn't faze me. I hear a small gasp from Jo as we step in the extravagant lobby. I can't help but think I might have gasped as well. It's like art work. I know both me and Jo are definitely staring at our surroundings too much. But it's can't be helped. "Hero, Jo!" I turn to see Anna waving and calling us over to some seating at the far end. We make our way over. I look around to see that the guy who took our luggage has disappeared. I suspect he's taking our shit to our rooms.

Anna pulls us in for a hug. A group hug and an tightly squeezed individual one. "I missed you guys so much!" I've missed her too. She is an amazing author and friend without her I wouldn't be where I am today.
"You know those 2 rooms that were booked that weren't ours?" Anna is already laughing. "Yeah" I'm curious. "Well apparently the customers have cancelled those rooms and found another hotel. They probably realised that all the other rooms were booked up and basically the whole place was hired out so they knew there was something going on." I can't help but let out of laugh. I hear Jo giggling beside me and it warms me. "Oh well fuck them. To bad they could have joined us!" I laugh even more at Jo's comment and we're all in fits of laughter that I have to sit down on one of the very inviting armchairs that lined the lobby.

"When is everyone else going to be here?" I ask from my comfortable chair. Anna sits down opposite me and Jo leans against the side of chair. I feel the warm coming from her and I can't help but feel myself blush a little. "Everyone is arriving at different times. It's all very confusing." Anna is shuffled through some papers on the table. "You guys are the first to arrive. But I wanted it to be that way so we could spend some time together." Me and Jo are both nodding and smiling at Anna's comment. Of course we would be the first here. "We can get something to eat or something at the restaurant here. I'm thinking of maybe going into the spa. Jo your more than welcome to join me!"
"I'd love to!" I hear from behind me and I can tell she has a big smile plastered on her face.
"And what about me?" I laugh at Anna expression.
"I mean your more than welcome to join us Hero." She laughing. "But I didn't think that a spa would be your thing!"
"I can just go in the pool. While you do your girl thing that girls do at spas."
We all burst out laughing and I feel some tears forming at the edge of my eyes. "Okay, okay Hero you can join us." That was Jo.

We all stand up as one of the hotel staff comes towards us. I'm hastily wiping the tears from my eyes and feel a bit embarrassed. I can hear some sniggering beside me and I look down. Jo is trying to hide her laughter at me behind her hand. I nudge her gently in the arm and I see her blush again.

"Miss Langford. You are in room 523 on floor 40." Jo raises her eyebrows as the lady passes Jo her key card and key. "Wow that's high!" Is all Jo comments on a surprises manner.
"Mr Fiennes-Tiffin. You are in room 515 also on floor 40." I just smile as I take my key and key card. I nudge Jo again and she looks at me expectantly. "I guess we'll be in the skies together then."
"I guess so" she smiles before we make our way towards the lift. As expected it's as decorative as the lobby.
I press 40 on the lift key pad and we're off almost instantly. Luckily Anna is staying on the same floor. The lift key pad, looks a bit like the buttons from Willy Wonkas glass lift from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It feels like the glass lift. Those many many buttons, of those many many floors and places. Fuck sake. Now I'm referencing a kids book.

"I like your hoodie Jo"
Shit. When I look over, Anna is smirking at me.
