Introduction

hi everyone!

My name is Mary, and this is Find Me, my first EVER fan fiction.

Since I'm not an experienced writer, you'll forgive me if I don't always make sense. ALSO, English is not my first language soooo... be kind xxx.
I'll try me best but I already know there will be mistakes that I'll have to edit in like one year lol I apologize in advance.

I'm a huge Marvel fan and a winter child (so yes... absolutely obsessed with Sebastian Stan and Bucky Barnes) but unfortunately Find me is not set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However I will add Marvel characters and Easter eggs and will try to keep some of the storylines from both the MCU and the Comics.

I also took inspiration from some of the actors' lives who play the characters in the MCU. For example Bucky lives in New York but half of his family immigrated from Romania, where Sebastian Stan is actually from. Cute little details like this help me flesh out the characters and give them more depth.

The plot

Our main protagonist is a young woman, Natalie, troubled by her past and unsure of her future, trying to escape her traumas and live her life on her own terms.

She finds a man. Or he finds her.

James Barnes, also known as Bucky, a equally troubled devil, with his own fair share of traumas to deal with.
Alone they were broken, lost and scared, willing to do whatever it took to survive.
Together they become alive, aiming again for the stars, hungry for life.
And unexpectedly, they both trust each other, blindly.

Until something goes wrong.

I have a very clear idea of where I want the story to go so hopefully the chapters will make sense and follow a coherent path. I like the growing tension so before anything happens between the two characters (and yes something will definitely happen, did someone say smut??) it's going to take some heavy flirting, jealousy and heated scenes.

I will follow my favorite tropes which are strangers to lovers, lovers to enemies and enemies to lovers (MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE).

I will update specific Trigger Warnings as I post, I will make sure to add them at the beginning of every chapter so you know what to avoid!

But more in general, procede with caution if any of the following trigger you:

- Violence

- Sexual content (SMUT)

- Kinks (Daddy Kink, Choking, possibly knife kink)

If anyone ever actually reads this, I hope you enjoy! I will update as frequently as I can and hopefully I'll have an ending by the end of the summer ✨
