Mono stood silent against the loud sound of crashing waves. In front of him, was a mechanical device, standing nearly ten feet tall, adorned with cyan samurai armor plating over its light blue garb. In its hands was two swords, one a metal katana infused with Anemo, the other a wakizashi made of Cryo. From joints of its body, thin wires stretched upward, but became transparent after a small length past its height.
At its side, was a two piece mask split vertically in half. The mask had large eyes and horns, cyan in color with a two glowing blue stripes from the forehead down to the chin, on the edge of the face. It's sharp teeth bulged from the mouth and it's canines even curled outward.
The audience behind Mono were curious as to what would happen when such a thing awoken, and they were soon to get their answer.
Mono only held his bow, but the mask behind the machine made him roll his neck and send it away.
Sword against swords, Anemo/Cryo against Anemo/Geo/???
"Kick its ass, Mono!" Reona yelled, breaking the silence. "You can do it, Mr. Honorary Knight!" Klee cheered as well. Mono smirked and shook his head.
Mono held out his hands, and summoned his crafted sword, The Sword of Descension. In the other, was the last piece needed to activate the mechanism before him.
The wires controlling the machine shifted the masks together, and the missing component's placement became obvious, so Mono placed into in the hole in the forehead.
On queue, the mask flew forward and sent Mono skidding back on the stone platform they stood on. The eyes of the mask glinted red and separated, swirling towards Mono to attack.
Mono thrusted himself upward with Anemo, and watched as the mask pieces clamped together again and burst with Cryo. He noted the ranged attack, but soon needed to take another into account.
The samurai machine slashed both blades twice, sending two blades of Anemo and Cryo towards the airborne Mono.
Mono simply twisted his body over the four projectiles and continued to analyze its attacks. The Artificial Intelligence instead grew tired of his nonchalant approach to the fight.
The samurai leapt towards him with surprisingly swift speed and Mono blocked the vertical downward slash of the Anemo infused Katana. The force threw him down toward the ground, where an afterimage of the samurai flung another two Cryo slashes at him.
Mono swiped the projectiles away with darkened crystals, before tapping his foot. The original samurai landed beside him and went for a violent horizontal slash, that would've tore Mono's head off had he not brought up a wall of crystals again.
Punching the wall, Mono sent the crystals as projectiles towards the evading samurai. It appeared to glide on its feet with how little it lifted its legs, and dodged the crystals with ease, but Mono didn't let up.
The crystals began homing in on the samurai, and it deflected them instead, it's combat prowess finally being revealed.
"Oh. You think you're a challenge. That's cute." Mono muttered.
Mono teleported behind the fleeing samurai, and slashed at it with widened eyes of concentration.
The two both twisted their frames and swung with all their might, creating a current of wind that appeared to distort reality, a certain pirate catching Deja Vu.
Mono was surprised it met his slash head on, an grinned. He remembered the Abyss Herald and his sister being the only things to actually entertain him, excluding Childe since he held back against the Harbinger.
