Aether glanced down at his farm from his window.

He noticed a very distinct lack of Qingxins. In fact, she took every last one... with out replanting... or informing him.

Ei appeared beside him and saw the sight of a the empty farmland, glancing at Aether to see that he was less than amused.

Aether stood beside Ganyu as she finished plowing the lands for replanting, her exhausted figure slouched over from the beaming sun of the beach biome.

Aether summoned a glass of water and held it out, and she quickly chugged it down with a sigh of relief.

"I'm so sorry, M—... Aether." Ganyu apologized.

"I didn't mean help yourself so literally, but it's no problem. I'll let you know when they've bloomed." Aether said with a smile. Ganyu nodded swiftly, and looked at the fields with delight.

"If I had a Dendro potion... maybe I could maximize just how fast I could harvest these..." Aether mumbled his thoughts.

Waving to Ganyu as she exit the teapot, Aether took a seat on the ground and rested his body on his arms.

"What do I do next? I still refuse to do a festival... Sumeru is beyond the Chasm, so maybe I should explore there until they open their borders." Aether thought aloud.

"Sumeru, huh? Let me know when you go. I'd love to visit." Mona chimed into his thoughts, standing behind him.

"Sure. You could do with touching some actual grass." Aether joked, making her roll her eyes and gaze at the newly planted seeds.

"Wow. That girl really knows how to eat." Mona commented.

"She's not the only one... I need to go fishing someday." Aether scoffed thinking about just how many skewers Keqing ate.

"Alright. I've made up my mind." Aether said with a nod.

He switched from his previous t-shirt and pants to his corrupted armor that he deemed Twilight Scales.

Aether felt resonance with his original power and smiled softly, reminiscing for bit a brief moment. Ei appeared behind the two, silent as he smiled to himself.

"I'm going to the Chasm mines. Do you want to relax or come along?" Aether asked Ei.

"I think I'll keep myself clean in Mistsplitter. The soot and dirt down there has no business around me." Ei shrugged, more willing to be away from her companion than get dirty.

"Alright. That reminds me... Reona, Paimon," Aether called with a grin.

"Aye aye!" The two greeted, appearing out of thin air and waving to him.

"You two ready to explore?" He asked, summoning The Sword of Descension.

"Sir, yes, sir!" The two cheered, ready to get back on the road after so long. Aether rolled his right arm, spinning his sword as he did, before waving them on.

Before he could teleport, Mona shouted, "Wait! Wait!" making Aether turn with hum.

"Can you please collect as many ore, flora, and fungi as possible? Oh! And record all data you can! It will help with a few concoctions I have in mind." Mona pleaded.

"I'll do what I can... or remember, at least." Aether replied, but that was good enough for her.

Summoning the Mistsplitter Edge, Ei awoke from her slumber to see that he was ready to go after a week of rest.
