"Now, I heard you name, but... Travel Guide?" Mono asked, crossing his arms."Well... I was gonna be one, but... uh... You weren't where I saw you land." Paimon replied.

Many months ago...
Paimon was floating by the beach Mono crashed at, but something was off.
Very off.
There were footprints.
"Son of a—"

"Oh. Yeah, I was conscious when I crashed. Somebody retrieved me." Mono responded.
"Well, I hope you'll have me. I know a bit about Teyvat, and of course, have nothing better to do." She shrugged.
"What have you been doing... since you didn't find me?" Mono asked in disbelief, unaware of the three people encroaching behind him.
"Waiting mostly. I finally caught sound of your tales, and made my way here! Only to hear you were in Inazuma...! Then... to hear you were back in Liyue...! You sure move a lot..." She trailed off, trying her best to hide her irritation.
"Sorr—"
Reona fell on top of his shoulders, glaring at Paimon in jealousy. At Mono's sides was Yae and Ei, nudging and elbowing his ribs respectively.
"You didn't say anything about companionship..." Reona said through gritted teeth. "Denied." Ei added swiftly.
"I didn't know you intended on increasing beyond the pixie. This is becoming a harem—"
Mono teleported away, and beside the others, standing next to Mona.
"Start locking the teapot." He whispered.
"Listen, I don't know what's going on, but I've got work to do. Favor for a friend." Mono said waving the four off.
"But I've come all this way..." Yae slyly whined, knowing full well she'd continue to pester him.
"Why aren't I welcome?!" Reona asked in shock.
"You left me. To myself. And you know me. It was depressing. I'm not sure if you realized, but it's almost been a year since I've been in Teyvat." Mono said in disbelief.
"A YEAR?!" Paimon shouted in shock, saddened she let so much time go by.
"I know right?!" Mono said with an amused smile.
"Wha?! Do not mingle with my man!" Reona shouted in anger. "Your what?!" Ei asked with skepticism, still holding Mistsplitter Reforged.
"I'm seconds away from kicking everyone out." Mono said with a blank stare.
"Is now a bad time to say that I'm done?" Shenhe asked politely.

Snapping his fingers, Mono's tendrils erupted from his cloak and began slinging and tossing several mass produced spherical contraptions.
After about forty flew into the air, Shenhe and Ganyu stepped up, coils of Adepti Sigils swirling around them, two for each sphere.
Mono put his own flair into the mix, having been taught to make his own. Unfortunately, they were black and blue, contrasting from the icy blue and the white of their own.
After a few seconds of a harmonized clicks, the spherical contraptions began to glow dimly, each with their own different hues.
Mono released his tendrils, and they all slowly fell down around them all.
