Chapter 31 (Loki)

It took us a few days back at her father's house to get used to how things were there. We didn't have any AI units on Jotunheim that would make the room the perfect temperature, or would cook our food for us if we asked. It was nice having the robots take care of things for us for the most part, a very nice relaxing vacation.

"Are you sure that we can't bring some of these back with us?" Abby asked me.

"I don't think these things will work well with what we have back home. It's so cold and damp that the circuitry would probably be destroyed after a few days."

"There are ways to waterproof things, look at the SCU devices, they've worked for how long now."

"Yeah, true." I thought about it for a minute before there was a knock on the door and Tony came in, "Hey old man." I said.

"Hey it's my son-in-law, little blue pill." They both laughed at that and clapped their hands, before this would have been too creepy to watch, but after all of these years it was normal to see them get along so well.

"Everyone's coming for the party here shortly if you guys want to come down and join."

"Do we need to bring the kids?" I joked and he just smiled.

"Well they are a condition of you coming to the party." Tony said jokingly.

"I guess we can bring them then." Abby said, smiling at us.

We gathered in the party room they had on the first floor, an add on to the house. Tony put all the newest gadgets and gizmos in there so it was up to date. All the new electronics like game systems and movies. There were balloons and streamers along with the current obsession of Morgan, the show Trolls. She was so obsessed with Queen Poppy that it was adorable.

The cake was shaped like Poppy's head, there was a pinata made to look like Branch and she had so many gifts sitting on the gift table that were wrapped in Trolls paper it was like we were having one of their birthdays instead of Morgan's.

All of us had gathered; Steve and Bucky, Nat and Bruce, Clint with his family, Wanda and Vision. There were a couple of Asgardians that had shown for the party, Lady Sif and her friends the Warriors Three. Of course Thor showed up and because he was there I couldn't stop thinking of the blond dildo jokes she'd made for so long.

"Well this looks like a lot of fun." I said as Morgan came running past with a Poppy doll and trampled right on my foot making me swear.

"Sorry Uncle Loki." she said as she ran along to play with Clint's kids

"Well I knew one of us was going to run you over. I just didn't think it would be the four year old." Tony joked.

"It could be worse, Thor actually got hit by a vehicle. Then got stuck in the ass to put him to sleep in the hospital."

There was a coughing sound and we looked to see Thor choking on food as he tried to spit it out. "Where--where did you hear that?"

"Oh, brother. I'll never tell." I said with a smile.

"Wait someone hit the blond dildo? Isn't that some kind of abuse?" Tony smirked.

"I am not a dildo!"

"You're right, you're right. But if you were getting any then your girl wouldn't be using one." Tony said laughing.

"Sore spot there Tony. He hasn't talked to Jane in a while." I said.

"Oh, yeah no my bad man. I didn't realize she was off somewhere else."

"Thank you."

"Maybe if you tell her you're now known as Point Break she'll come back?"
