Morgan was cooing softly as I read to her, starting our normal routine. The first few minutes of my freedom was spent with her reading and giving my dad and Pepper some time to relax. I'd read for about ten minutes and then my last five I could handle being in her room, I spent feeding her since Pepper allowed her to be bottle fed once a day when I had her. It was a nice routine and she always snuggled so that she was laying right on top of Arn as if to say she couldn't wait to meet him. When he moved in my belly, she'd grin and look up to me as if she were on the craziest ride.

"Hopefully soon you'll get to meet your uncle Loki, preferably before your nephew is born." I said with a laugh and jumped a little at the loud noise coming from the outside. I looked outside and after seeing Thor step through the bifrost, I saw Loki. "He's here!" I said excitedly, running as safely as I could with my sister in my arms. "Dad, Daddy is here! Here, take Morgan." He took my sister and looked at me funny as I made my way outside and ran into my husband's arms.

"Kitten, careful. I don't want you getting overheated." He said as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me.

"Daddy, I was so worried.." I whispered softly, not even paying attention to the royal court coming down the bifrost and the healer that had come before.

"I promised you, I will always return for you and our son." He said wish a smile, placing his hands on either side of my stomach. "He's gotten so big in such a short time."

"How are you feeling, my Queen?" Hredr asked as he bowed.

"Very well, thank you. Bed rest is a bitch and I'm pretty sure Arn has made it a game as to how many times he can get stuck in my ribs." I said with a laugh.

I looked around and saw everyone finally, realizing that this meant only one thing: it was safe on Jotenheim when we would choose to return. While I was partly excited to return home, I was also a little nervous as to what I would be walking into again.

"He is going to be a strong descendant." Leytle said happily.

"Okay, I know I'm supposed to be used to random drop ins from the eight other worlds and the billion galaxies we have here, but would it kill you to forewarn me you're coming back?" My dad said jokingly as he came up behind me.

"We are here to celebrate with our King and Queen. He was a magnificent ruler to bring the traitors-"

"Let's not discuss the details, please?" I asked, stopping one of the council members in their tracks. I didn't want to know what it took, but more importantly I didn't want to remember how cold my lover could be when we were in danger. And, at least for now, we were finally safe.

Thor clapped a hand on Loki's shoulder, and judging by the way he looked, I knew it had to have been bad. The two had made so many amends that when they fought now, it was more along the lines of sparring and jokes, not the two actually being at each other's throats. He made his way over to Morgan, making cooing sounds.

"Who's this?" Loki asked and I took Morgan from my dad.

"First, no baby talk. It's actually better to speak to children as adults." I grinned and held her so she could see Loki. "And this..this is Morgan. Morgan, this is your uncle Loki. He's a big child sometimes and will make you laugh like no other." I said playfully.

"Oh, Kitten, careful. You're still on bedrest."

"That doesn't mean anything." I said with a smirk and everyone around us groaned. "Okay, how about you all start celebrating and we get a chance to say hello."

With that, my father took my sister away and mumbled something along the lines of, "Enough. Innocent ears." We laughed and as Thor and Bruce took off their units, I wrapped my arms around Loki's neck. "What do you say? Let's get you cleaned up so we can celebrate your victory."
