"'Kay I'll see you at school tomorrow." I tell Jason, as I start to close the door.

He stops me, putting his hand on the door, "You know everything's gonna change tomorrow right?" He asks, making it more of a statement that a question.

I nod, "Yeah I know."

"You can't take it back you know." He reminds me, "Once this is done, it's done."

I nod again, "I know,"

"You're not gonna regret it?" He questions, his eyebrows raised.

I shake my head this time, "I'm getting what I wanted out of it, so no, I'm not gonna regret it." I tell him, truthfully.

"Okay, I'll pick you up tomorrow." He informs me, not giving me a choice. Without arguing the matter further, I try and close the door again, but once again he stops me.

I sigh, "What now?"

"I think you forgot something." He tells me, pointing to the grin on his face. I shake my head, utterly done with his childish games, "C'mon, all girlfriends kiss their boyfriends." He tells me, in a teasing tone.

"I think you're forgetting we're not actually a couple."

He frowns, "Yeah sure Lil." He says, starting to walk away to his car,

"It's lilith!" I yell, not gaining his attention as he starts his engine. "Asshole." I mumble. But for some reason there's no anger behind my words.

---

"Is Blaine here yet?" My dad asks once I reach the kitchen, peering over her glasses at me. He's reading the daily newspaper like most parents do- oh wait, that was back in the 80's. My mom's standing by the kitchen, her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun at the back of her head as she frantically cooks my dad's breakfast.

"No I'm getting a ride from someone else." I say.

"Oh." My mom says, looking at me curiously, "Do we know them?"

"Not yet, maybe this weekend you can meet him." I tell them, walking to the door.

I hear a small conversation between my parents as there's a knock on the door. I answer it, with only one of my shoes on. Behind my door Jason stands, his smile growing when his dark eyes meet mine. "Hey Babe." He says.

"Babe?" I hear my dad's voice say from down the hall, as footsteps come closer, "Lilith do you have something to tell us?" He asks as he nears.

I grab my other white shoe, pushing Jason back and stepping out the door, "Nope, see you after school." I tell him, quickly closing the door. "You dick." I mutter to Jason as he laughs, quite amused by my embarrassment.

"What? I'm selling the role like you said." He tells me, walking beside me to his truck. He opens my door for me as I glare at him. God, he can be so much.

---

As soon as I exit his car, people's eyes are on me. A million students staring with dumbfounded looks as Jason rounds his car joining me. Okay, maybe not a million but still a lot.

Three people standing beside a blue car catch my eye, all of them looking curiously while Jason holds his hand out to me, "Ready Lil?"

I nod, taking his hand in mine, as we walk through the whispering crowds. I ignore my friend's judgy looks as we pass the front door. He intertwined our fingers, squeezing my hand and we near my locker.

Okay maybe this was a bad idea. Now that everyone's eyes are scanning me, people calling me a slut. Just because I'm with him- I mean pretending to be with him.
