Weeks went by, We completed our exams. We were in the last week of school when we all decided we'd start renting the house during the summer so we can get to know the area before school. My mom wasn't necessarily thrilled about it but she was happy I was going to UCLA.
I decided to major in art history, even though my plan was to go pro, I needed a back up. I wanted to pack slowly so I started this week, packing up my stuff box by box so I could say goodbye to everything.
Dillion's almost fifteen and I'm leaving. He pretends he doesn't care which hurts. I've already promised my mom I'd visit regularly. I'll be back halfway through the summer for his birthday, hopefully.
"Lil." Jason says, squeezing my hand to get my attention. I hum, looking up at him, "You zoned out." We sat outside for lunch. We're sitting on the grass in a makeshift circle, all the couples sitting beside each other.
I smile, leaning up to press a small kiss against his cheek, "Sorry."
"Anyways," Seth starts, "I'm just saying I'm hurt you guys didn't ask me to move in." He tells us.
Izzy glares at him, "Are you planning on ditching me or something?" She questions.
"Oh course not, I'm just saying it'd be nice to be asked." He repeats.
"What are you guys doing after grad?" I ask them.
They share a look, "Izzy's trust fund kicks in when she turns eighteen in a couple weeks, so we're gonna travel." Seth says, smiling at her.
"Starting with Hawaii then going to dubai, then I don't know wherever the world takes us." Izzy adds.
"That's so fun." Jaime says.
They both nod, smiling proudly. They're a cute couple, they fit together. Traveling fits them too, they're both so free spirited.
"So grads next week then prom, what're you guys wearing?" Jaime asks.
Seth shrugs, "Jeans and a sweatshirt." He says casually.
Jason raises his eyebrow, "Seriously dude? You're not even gonna try to dress up?" He asks, in an unbelieving tone.
"Why? It's my grad, why should I pretend to be something else?" He retorts.
"Well I still need to buy a dress." I say, changing the subject.
"Why don't you just come shopping with me and Jaime? We need to buy our grad/prom dress still." Callie suggests.
I nod, "Yeah sure, when are you guys going?" I question
"This weekend." Jaime answers.
"I bought a hot pink dress." Izzy says.
Seth rolls his eyes, "Of course you did." He says, laughing a bit.
She glares at him, "What's that supposed to mean?" She spits.
"Nothing, nothing." He says casually.
I'm gonna miss them, me and Izzy aren't extremely close but she's still really funny and nice. I wish I got to know these guys sooner.

"Try this one on." Callie tells Jaime, handing a dress over the changing room door.
Callie found her outfit fairly fast, she went with a tight black dress that she's pairing with black converse and her green flannel-yes she's wearing a flannel to prom.
I was still deciding between two dresses. One was plain and simple, it was a long purple dress that complimented my hair. It had thin straps that crossed in the back and it resembled a bridesmaids dress.
The other was a light yellow dress. It still somehow went with my hair, it was a lighter material then the purple dress and it was flowier.
"I still don't know which one to get." I whine looking between the two dresses.
Callie looks over my shoulder at them, "Go purple." She says, as if it's the simplest thing.
"But the yellow one's so nice." I complain.
"Then go yellow." She tells me.
I look back at the purple one, "But this ones to pretty."
She rolls her eyes, "You're impossible. How's it going Jaime?" She questions through the door.
Jaime emerges, giving us a twirl. She was wearing a light pink dress. It was long and flowy. It had a white flower design in the top that stretched down to the skirt.
"It looks great." I say.
"It's beautiful, do you like it?" Callie asks, I could tell she wanted to go home.
Jaime shrugs, "It's alright."
"Oh my god I'll get you another one." Callie complains, standing from her chair and exiting the changing area.
"Which one do you think I should get?" I ask Jaime.
She looks over at the hanging dresses, "Oh purple definitely."
I nod, "Okay, I'm going purple." I say, telling myself. I grab the yellow one, putting it out of my sight so I won't be tempted to change my mind.
Callie returns carrying a black dress that was folded up, "'Kay try this one." She says, handing it to Jaime.
A few seconds later Jaime returns wearing the dress. The black straps hung off her shoulders. It was long and tight to her body, it had a slit up her right leg, going to her mid thigh. "It looks great, do you like it?" Callie asks again.
"I like it." Jaime says, smiling.
"Great we'll match. Lil did you choose a dress yet?" She questions,
I nod, "Yup, I'm going purple." I tell her.
She smiles, 'Okay finally let's get out of here." Callie says excitedly.
We pay for our dresses and I buy small high heels which were silver and would match my necklace.
