I pack up my stuff, looking through my sketch books as I do. Jason looked through these last week, claiming they were amazing and I should try and sell them or something.

I never drew for profit, or fam. It was never my goal when drawing. It was my escape for a long long time. Every time my mom would fight with my dad, I would draw. Every time me and Blaine had a fight about something I would draw. Every time I failed a test or a class, I would draw.

But I didn't need an escape anymore, everything was perfect-knock on wood. Me and Jason are together. My mom left my dad and she was finally happy. Dillion could be himself now without my dad suppressing him. I had friends that actually cared about me. And I was going to freaking UCLA. My dream school.

When I move all my packed boxes into the living room my mom and Dillion are waiting for me. I hug my mom close, "I'm gonna miss you." I whisper to her.

"I'll miss you too." She told me, "Be safe sweetie."

I release her, pulling Dillion into a hug, "I'll miss you too." I tell him.

"Yeah, you too. But you're coming back for my birthday right?" He questions.

I nod against his shoulder, "Yeah of course." My phone buzzes in my pocket. "C'mon Dill, help me with the boxes." I tell him, after checking my phone. It was Jaosn telling me he's here.

It takes a while, loading the boxes into the back of Jason's truck. But after we do I give my mom and Dill another quick hug before I climb into the passenger seat.

"Bye guys!" I yell through the open window, waving at them.

Once we're about a block away I lean back in my seat, looking over to Jason. I smile at his tattoo, then look at mine. 'Every saint has a past' mine reads, small print on my forearm. 'Every sinner has a future' his reads, same place, same font. "Ready for the start of our lives?" He questions.

I smile at him, "Hell yeah."
