I hear yelling from down stairs that pulls me out of my deep sleep. I look over to the side of the bed, Jason's gone.
I walk out of our room and into the main hallway, walking down the large staircase. At the bottom Jason stands, looking on his phone. He looks up at me, "I got in!" He yells.
I race down the stairs, "You got in?" I question, mirroring his grin.
He nods, "I fucking got in!" I leap up, pulling him into a hug and wrapping my legs around his waist.
He laughs into my shoulder as he hugs me tighter, "You're gonna be a fucking cop!" I yell excitedly.
"God keep it down, some of us are trying to sleep." Seth groans from the top of the stairs. We both roll our eyes as he puts me back on the ground, "But seriously dude, happy for you." He tells Jason, clapping him on the back.
Jaime and Callie appear at the top of the stairs, descending. "I got into the police academy." He tells them, grinning still.
Callie pulls him in for a brief hug, "Seriously! That's fucking amazing!"
It was October. UCLA was better than I could've imagined, it was still difficult at times but it was worth it.
It was good we couldn't find a roommate for the last room because it turns out 'wherever the wind takes them' took Seth and Izzy here. They went to Hawaii like they planned, and stayed there during the summer but after that they realized they couldn't live without us and returned-joking. I wasn't actually sure why they came to live with us but they did.
Jason was pursuing becoming a police officer. It was great for his health, it gave him something to work towards. He's gotten better, he had a relapse in June but has been clean ever since. He works out daily and takes his meds, which I think helps. He's gotten better at talking to me when he's not doing well and we've got him through it.
I wanna spend the rest of my life with Jason even if it's hard because I love him with all of my fucking heart. I don't care how many bumps there were on the way here. I don't care that this all started with me trying to piss off my dad. All that matters is that Jason loves me and I fucking love him.
