(Aleah's pov)
"Leo baby come here so mommy can finish your makeup."

I pulled Leo over to the couch so I could continue applying his whiskers to his costume. It was Halloween and it was his first time going trick or treating and to say the least he was over the moon excited.

Billie was also excited just to be able to take them. She explained it was the little things like taking the kids to trick or treating like a normal parent that made her happy, which I had no problem with.

"Mommy am I gons get to stay up past my bedtime and eats candy?"

"Uhh well yes but not too much candy baby you'll get sick. And you're still going to bed at a good time."

Just then Billie came down the stairs with Delilah in her costume.

"Oh come on mama it's Halloween, let him stay up a little bit late."

"He's already staying up late, Bil, we don't need a cranky two year old in the morning."
I finished adjusting his costume as Bil sat down next to me.

"He'll be fine darling relax, anyway look at you little man you look so cute baby."

"No momma not cute. I'm a scary lion! RAWR!!" He screamed. Making both of us laugh.

"Oh, I'm sorry you're a very scary lion."

"And you princess, you look adorable!" I picked Delilah up out of Billie's lap as she giggled with her hand in her mouth.

"Alright Leo now what do we say when we knock on the door?" I asked him.

"Trick or Treat!"

"Good job. Alright come on let's get going it's almost sundown." I took his little hand as Billie grabbed Delilah.

I gave Leo his little bucket as he smiled with excitement. We got the kids into their car seats before we drove a little ways out of town, but not too far.

Billie decided to go downtown cause it would be less walking on my part. She didn't want me walking too much.

Per usual we saw many people dressed up as her for Halloween. Some even dressed up as Finneas which while it was adorable by it was a weird thing to experience.

And boy if Delilah didn't walk before she sure as hell walked now. Half the experience was us chasing both of their hyped up behinds down the street.

We stopped at around 8:30 to take a break cause I was already exhausted.

"You alright mama? Do we need to stop?" Billie asked as she tried to keep Leo from running off.

"No, no I don't wanna ruin Leo's fun. It's just a lot of walking and running, I just need a minute. Why don't you and him go down the rest of this neighborhood while I rest."

"Mama I don't wanna leave you here alone."

"Billie there's two more houses on this street. I won't be alone for more than 5 minutes. Go I'll be fine."

"Alright. Come on buddy." Leo practically dragged her to the next two houses as I watched with amusement.

My hand went down to hold my small bump as I leaned my head back against the brick wall.

A little bit of time went by before I heard the happy screams of my son making me laugh a little bit.

"Mommy! Mommy look I gots a big candy!"
He held up a giant size snickers bar as she laughed happily.

"Ohh that's great buddy, what else did you get baby?"

He showed me the things he got from the houses before we left the neighbors to go to another one.

When we were going up to the different houses I noticed Delilah always wanting to get down and stand beside Leo. I think she was trying to do the same thins he was doing which I found adorable.

It was a very chaotic, fun and a little bit of a frustrating experience. But a good experience nonetheless. Leo filled up his entire bucket and ate about half of it. Delilah got a little fussy around 10 which is when we decided to head home.

(Billie's pov)
I attempted to calm Leo down as I helped him out of his costume. This boy does not need sugar past 4pm, he is just a big ball of energy.

He kept talking to me about how much he loved going trick or treating and how much candy he got. Well more like yelled it at me.

"Okay Leo, buddy listen, listen shhhh. Look I know you're excited but it's 10:30 at night and you're very loud so can we quiet down a little bit buddy? Okay?"

He nodded his head as I got him into the bath before heading to check on Aleah.

Only I went into our room to find her and Delilah asleep on the bed. The sight bringing a small smile on my face.

I quietly picked up Delilah taking her to her room to get her into her pajamas. She woke up a little bit but went right back to sleep as soon as I put her down.

I went back to the room quietly waking Aleah up so she could at least get into some comfier clothes.

"Baby? Come on love get up for a minute so you can change."

"No. I don't wanna."

"Oh I know love come on it'll only be for 2 minutes then you can go right back to sleep."

I helped her up as she got changed and helped her back into bed, giving her forehead a kiss and going to get Leo out of the bath.

"Alright buddy. Listen mommy and sissy are sleeping so you gotta be quiet okay?"

"Mhm. Quiet."

"Yeah. Good boy, okay come on let's go get dressed." I took him back to him and Delilahs room and as quietly as possible got him into his pajamas and tucked him into bed.

I made sure to hide the rest of the candy so he couldn't get into it without me or Aleah's permission. Because that little boy plus sugar equals a nightmare.

Once I had did that I made my way back to the room to check on Aleah who was still passed out. All the walking and running probably tired her out. I left a kiss to her head before heading into my studio.

I didn't exactly have a plan, I was just gonna do whatever and see what happens.
