(Aleah's pov)

Today was the day we find out the baby's gender. It was about a week after thanksgiving to which Leo spent with my mom and grams. I finally caved in and let him as well as Delilah stay with them for thanksgiving.

He seemed super excited to go so it made it a little easier to deal with him not being here.

Right now I was getting ready to go to the appointment with Billie when I took a look in the mirror.

"Hey Bil?" I spoke.

"Yes my love?"

"Look at my stomach. Doesn't it look a little big to you?"

She came up behind me and tilted her head.
"I guess so. Doesn't that just mean you're having a big baby?"

I chuckled a little.
"It could. It would be weird though since both of us are pretty tiny." I joked, making her roll her eyes.

A big baby could also be a possibility it's a boy. Leo wanted it to be a boy so he could have a brother but either way he would be happy to have another sibling. I just thought it was strange I mean I was had literally just hit the 4 month mark like a week ago but you would think I was 6 or even 7.

"Do you think they're okay?"  I turned my head to look at Billie who circled her arms around my waist.

"The baby or the kids?" She asked. I shrugged

"I don't know. Both?"

"Well the kids are fine mama, we just checked on them an hour ago. And as for the baby, you're healthy so so is he."

I chuckled at her use of the word "he."
"You think it's gonna be a boy again?"

"Maybe just a little bit."

"Well I think it's gonna be a girl this time."

She scoffed playfully and rolled her eyes
"Yeah you said that last time and look what happened."

I laughed and she kissed my cheek before pulling away from me.

"No come back. You're warm." I whined out earning a small chuckle from her.

"We can cuddle as much as you want once we get back home okay? Promise. Now let's go."

"Fine."

We grabbed our things and headed off to the doctors.

We only waited for about 15-20 minutes before we got called back to get our ultrasound. I realized I wasn't as nervous this time around than I was last time. Probably just because I felt more ready than the last time. 

I laid down on the table as Kate spread the gel around. Billie sat on the chair beside me holding my hand.

"Alright Aleah, how've you've been doing?" Kate asked and started to move the microscope around.

"I've been okay but actually about a month ago I thought I felt a movement from the baby but I wasn't sure."

"Well it could've been—" She started to say but then stopped herself as she looked closer at the screen.

My body tensed as anxiety rose up through my chest.
"What is it? Is there something wrong?"

"No. Nothings wrong. Well it seems what you felt could've been a movement considering that it looks like...you are having twins."
