Jeon Jungkook, a high ranking enforcement officer in 'Dionysia,' a totalitarian city-state, where feelings and artistic expression are outlawed and citizens take daily medication to suppress their emotions.
After accidentally missing a dose Jungkook begins to experience emotions that make him question his morality and moderate his actions.
Ultimately, he meets the leader of the resistance, Kim Taehyung, and aids them to overthrow while attempting to remain undetected by the suspicious society in which he lives.
