I make it into the palace undetected. I am disguised as a guard, tall and broad. I figure no one would bat an eye at me compared to a very common looking random Asgardian woman roaming the palace.
I pass a few people on my way to the cells, giving then a nod and quickly moving on. I have so much energy... good energy rushing through me. The adrenaline kicks in, and I feel like I need a theme song. I hum Captain Jack Sparrow's theme song in my head as I swivel around corner after corner, down staircases and finally, the prison cells. This is it. Time to save the gods.
I walk past a guard at the door unnoticed. I walk slowly down the hall at all those who are imprisoned. It feels so wrong, them being in there while I'm out here. I bet half of them aren't even evil.
I look to my right and see Heimdall sitting in a chair, reading. I want to call to him and tell him that it's me, Ayca, and thank him for aiding us earlier, but I can't blow my cover. It's hard knowing how much control I have while I'm shifting and not actually there in person.
I look to the left and see Loki. He is sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall reading a book. I take a step closer to him. He's alive, thank god. I watch him a moment, and as I start to turn to find Thor, he catches my eye and perks up. A sly smile creeps up one side of his mouth, then he slowly leans back against the wall, sighing heavily. Does he know?
I finally find Thor at the back of the prison. He's pacing back and forth, sparking mini lightening bolts between his fists. I feel so bad for him. All he does is try to prove how mighty and righteous he is, but he never thinks and always ends up in situations like this. Too bad this time wasn't entirely his fault.
I turn on my heals to head back up the stairs, coming up with a plan to unlock the cages. As I am nearing the bottom of the staircase, a guard stops me.
"Why are you down here?" He asks, stopping me by placing a hand on my chest so I can't keep walking.
"Parole." I say in a hard tone, trying to sound intimidating.
"What the..." He says, looking into my eyes. Oh no, my vision is going red. My eyes must be turning red, I didn't script this!
I punch him, ducking his swing and knocking him to the ground by kicking in his knee. He falls and I run towards the stairs where I can find something to smash the windows of the cage with. The rest of the guards uproar as I duck and slide my way around them, not knowing what the hell I'm doing. It seems to work, because I manage to get to the weapons. I grab the heaviest thing I could find in that moment, hoping the form I took when I shifted gives me the strength to lift it. It does.
I swing as I turn around, knocking over anyone in my path. I smash Heimdall's cage first, and scream at him to get out and get to the Bifrost. Then I cross the path and smash Loki's glass, only to be hit over the head from behind. I scream in pain, but it doesn't knock me out. I chose a good suit for this.
Loki jumps out and waits to look into my eyes. I look directly at him, hoping he knows who I am.
"Don't ask, just get Thor!" I tell him, and he smiles at me, running to Thor's cage. Between the two of them, Loki's magic and Thor's thunder break the window. I chase off the guards while they escape up the stairs to the left. I trust that they will get back without me, now that they have Heimdall. I let myself fall to the ground, and when I hit hard, I open my eyes and jolt upright in my bed back at Tony's.
"God, I hope that worked." I say, rushing downstairs.
I barge into Tony's living room where I see Peter playing on his phone and tony working some gadget with Jarvis. They stare at me while I wait for something, anything.
