CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE
"you will lose"

Since it was broad daylight, Jade decided to walk around in her normal clothes so she wouldn't draw any attention to herself.

She checked all the bars in Prague, hoping she'd find some kind of evidence, although she didn't think there would be any— and she was right.
At every bar she went to, she had VERONICA check the security cameras and computers that rung up customer's orders. She knew Peter didn't drink any alcohol, so VERONICA looked for orders that were "kid-friendly."

Yet, nothing. None of the bars in Prague had any evidence Peter and Beck went inside them. She then hacked into the cities surveillance cameras, VERONICA scanning for Peter's face in the last twenty-four hours.

After a little while of scanning, VERONICA had tracked Peter down and showed Jade multiple screens of Peter throughout the day. Jade chose the screen that showed everyone standing in the destructed carnival, then she followed where Beck and Peter went, a bar called "Misteri Magici."

"We didn't go to that bar," Jade said aloud, looking at where the bar is located. "Where is it?"

"It doesn't exist," VERONICA said, showing the online results: NO RESULTS FOUND.

"Zoom in," Jade said and continued watching. She skipped through it a little, waiting for the two to exit the bar, then Peter did but Beck didn't follow. A blue light dimly lights up the bar and suddenly the video skips to a group of people leaving the bar.

"What the hell?" Jade mumbled, trying to go back but the same thing happened again. He must have hacked the cameras.

She tried looking at the other cameras to see if she could find Beck, but no luck, he erased all the evidence of him leaving the city.

But she had one idea left.

"V, did you get a look at the projector Peter had?" She asked.

"Yes, Miss Stark," VERONICA replied and pulled up the projector's information.

"Can you track any other devices that match this one?"

"One moment," VERONICA hummed, processing the data to track the others down. After a minute or two, VERONICA had successfully pinned where active drones are.

"So much for hiding," Jade smirked as she ran to where the location was.

She stopped in front of an old, rundown theater only a few minutes from Berlin city limits. Some of the windows were boarded up, but it was completely dark inside.

"Is this the right spot?" Jade asked, looking around the building.

"Yes, Miss Stark. I'm finding multiple bodies inside the building," VERONICA answered.
