Once the group portaled to the Statue of Liberty, they began setting up their anti-serums for when they needed them.

Jaidan helped pick Peter's spot and gave him the idea of webbing it in a corner in plain sight, that way he could grab it fast.

"It's nice having help again," Peter smiled.

Jaidan smiled, "Who was your help before?"

Peter's smile fell slightly, wishing he didn't have to talk about it, "Uhh... it was Gwen," he smiled again.

"Oh," Jaidan frowned. Right, Gwen.

"No— it's okay. She, uh, she— she was great. We went to school together and she, uh, was very stubborn. Once she knew I was Spider-Man she started helping me and it just... didn't end well," Peter explained.

Jaidan tried to smile but it must've been hard losing Gwen, he definitely cared a lot about her. The only time he had ever mentioned Gwen was to this universe's Peter and right now. She didn't know much, but she knew he was in the same situation as her.

"But— it's okay! I know she'd be proud of me right now so..." Peter stepped in, hoping he didn't make Jaidan feel terrible.

"I bet she is," Jaidan smiled reassuringly.

Peter smiled back, leaning against the railings, "Y'know, I don't have a Jaidan Stark in my world— tell me about yourself?"

"Well," Jaidan laughed. "I guess for starters I'm not really a Stark— I'm an Odinsdottir. Goddess of Lightning. Sent to earth to protect myself from Thanos who ended up killing half my universe."

Peter's eyes widened, unable to talk.

"Oh— and my favorite color used to be purple, but now I can't stand it," she smiled.

Peter couldn't help but chuckle at that line, "Well, that's a life then,"

"You can say that," Jaidan mumbled, sighing. "What about you? Just because I had a Peter Parker doesn't mean I know you."

"Oh— well, my parents died in a plane crash and I was left to stay with my Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Then while sneaking into a lab to find information about my dad, a radioactive spider bit me and gave me my powers. I then decided to stop crime in red and blue spandex and ultimately ended up in another universe years later," Peter explained.

Jaidan laughed, "I guess I do know you just a little,"

"Okay guys, it could be any minute," this universes Peter said through the comms Jade provided everyone.
