After a while, the rain finally stopped. Peter wasn't talking, but he wasn't crying anymore so Jade didn't want to ruin the small amount of peace he was having. She continued to hum different music that came to her head, Peter said that it helped him not think about what was happening.

Jade completely understood where he was coming from. The one he loved most sacrificed herself to save him. There's no greater love than that, yet it hurt so much.

The two felt like they only had each other left, and while that seemed like enough before, right now it wasn't. What Jade would do right now to see her dad...

And suddenly, another pair of arms wrapped around Jade and Peter, making the two jump slightly. But once they saw who it was, they both began to cry.

Michelle was beside Jade while Ned was beside Peter, both of them hugging their best friends.

Maybe we aren't alone, Peter thought to himself. But then he felt other presences than just Ned and MJ.

He looked up, his crying starting to stop.

"Um, there's some people here," Michelle whispered to Jade and Peter. She stood up from Jade and helped her up. Jade looked to where the people were and saw four silhouettes— two hanging from the building and two floating in the air.

Suddenly, they were either jumping or floating down to get closer to them.

"Hey! Wait! Wait! Woah!" Peter says defensively, putting an arm out in front of him and pulling Jade behind him.

Jade's eyes widened, these were people she had never seen before. One guy was in normal clothes and the other was in some kind of Spider-Man suit. Jade scrunched her eyebrows together in confusion, especially when she saw the Harry Osborn that she was just with a few hours ago.

Then she saw the suit. A dark red iron suit, so dark it could've been mistaken as black, and once the person landed, they opened their mask, revealing a blonde-headed girl. That had to have been the Jade from another world.

"Sorry..." the normal clothed guy spoke first, holding his hand out. "—about May."

"Yeah... sorry," The one in the Spider-Man suit said, holding back tears. "I've got some understanding of what—"

"No, no, no, please don't tell me that you know what I'm going through," Peter said, his hand squeezing Jade's tighter.

"Okay..." he said.

"She's gone," Peter started breathing harder. "And it's all my fault."

Jade stepped closer to Peter, wanting to tell him he was wrong, but the new girl stepped in.
