WAKANDA

"Are you okay?"

Wanda asked, running towards Vision who was lying on the ground, hurt. He groaned and grabbed his head, the mind stone glowing bright. "What? What is it?"

"He's here," Vision panted, looking around alerted.

Wanda's eyes widened, understanding who he meant. She looked around nervously, pushing the hair away from her face.

The air in Wakanda was eerie, strange even. You could tell something wasn't right all of the sudden. The creatures that were attacking before retreated, causing everyone to look around confused.

"Everyone, on my position. We have incoming," Steve called through his earpiece.

"What the hell?" Natasha mumbled under her breath.

Wanda stood up, readying her magic. She took deep breaths, trying to imagine how she could stop Thanos and protect Vision. Then, she noticed a dark, blue and gray smoke appear with small lightning bolts floating around in it.

"Cap, that's him," Bruce said, then Wanda heard him gasp. "Oh, my God."

Wanda looked at the giant purple figure walk through the portal with a very small girl in a black suit. She looked terrified and was shaking slightly.

Wanda could feel a hand grab her arm, she turned to Vision and he was staring towards the girl and Thanos with a horrified look.

"What is it?" Wanda asked.

"It's... That's Jade," he said.

Wanda shot her head back to where Thanos stood. Her eyes became glassy and she felt her stomach drop. She didn't even recognize her. It's been so long since she last saw her and she looked like she had been through hell already.

"Who... Who is that with him?" T'Challa asked through the comms nervously.

"It's Jade," Bruce said, terror leaving this voice.

"No," Natasha whispered.

They all watched as Thanos stared and smirked at them. A weakness. He knew if he brought her she would be the one who causes them failure, to crumble and weaken. And when there was nothing left to stop him, he would kill her.

"Wh-What do we do?" Rhodey turned to Steve.

Steve took a deep breath, "Save Jade, grab the gauntlet," he said as calm as he could, but you could hear the brokenness in his voice. "Eyes up. Stay sharp." he said before advancing on him.

Thanos pushed Jade to walk, his hand still gripped on her shoulder, he boldly walked forward with his sick smile. The last stone in his view.

Jade locked eyes with Wanda, seeing her standing in front of Vision with worry. In that moment, everything to Jade went in slow motion— Thanos walking towards the Avengers and the others running at them; but she couldn't help. The grip Thanos had on her shoulder was strong, it was burning from the amount of pressure he had been applying.
