2- He's Good at Everything!
"Why are you guys always so late? Be on time without me reminding you! Will you?
Ugh... Like BOYS! Can you ever do something without me?" Natasha chuckled."What are you even saying! I would've been here even earlier than you if some pip-squeak hadn't interrupted me!" Aiden protests and rolls his eyes at Lucia.
I signalled Lucia to keep quiet while she gritted her teeth and gave Aiden a "whatever" kind of look.
"So... what exactly is this about again?" I raise the question.
"Well, this is one of the traditions in our school. It's called 'Kick-off the year with a bang!' Firstly, there is a starting basketball game in which our high school, WATERFORD HIGH and another high school compete. This is followed by a small food festival and the new students can enter different clubs!" Natasha explains.
"That means... NO MORE CLASS TODAY! YES!" Lucia squeals in excitement.
Aiden gave out a small laugh.
"WHAT'RE YOU LAUGHING AT!?!?" She snaps at him.
"You- You just sounded like an ugly rat trying to be a cute mouse right now." He starts laughing hysterically.
"I WILL KILL YOU ONE DAY!" Lucia clenches her fists and starts chasing Aiden.
"You'll win for Waterford this time as well? Won't you?" Natasha asks Phoenix in a very sweet tone.
"Definitely." He chuckles.
"Wait? So you play basketball?" I tilt my head in doubt.
Phoenix grins and my heart freezes in time.
"You'll see..." He continues and winks.
I will die if this keeps up. He's too hot and cute and perfect and I don't know. He's everything. Gosh! I feel like I'm going crazy.
"Who are we up against anyway?" Aiden pops up while trying to escape Lucia.
"Oakridge High." Natasha responds.
"OAKRIDGE!?!" Lucia and I ask in a surprised tone.
Aiden and Phoenix looked at us with a confused expression.
"It's their old school!" Natasha exclaimed.
"This! Now, this just made things a lot more interesting!" Aiden shouts.
"NOW GO CHANGE! THE OTHERS HAVE ALREADY COME IN!" Natasha shouts at the boys.
They all hurry to the locker room. Lucia and I head towards the bleachers while Natasha continues coordinating the rest of the events.
"You know she reminds me of you. The girl who does the coordination perfectly and is everyone's favourite." Lucia tells me.
"I guess you're right but she seems to be everyone's crush instead of favourite." I laugh.
She laughs it off with me.
"BOO!" Three familiar faces pop up in front of us.
"Hello! Long time no see!" They add on.
"FELIX! ZAVID! AUSTIN!" The two of us cry in disbelief.
"You should've expected us. I mean it's the basketball tournament! We're the most elite players of Oakridge High!" Felix mentions.
"Well OBVIOUSLY!" I joke in a British accent.
"Skyla! My man! How are you doing?" Austin says and hugs me.
