The next day...
I just woke up, intending to make some breakfast for Eddy and his sister, when I caught Belle is already busy making something in the kitchen.

I stand silently as my eyes follows her movements back and forth. Her arrival yesterday is still out of my expectation. I know that Eddy is going to leave the city, but I wonder if her appearance here mean she wants to pick her brother too? But if so, does that mean Eddy doesn't have the time I thought he has left? Is there something I don't know about him?

My glance my eyes down, frowning towards my dilemma. It's been awhile I avoided him just because I don't know how to express my feelings about his departure in the future, but... I just...

"Y/N? Hey, didn't see you there," Belle's voice suddenly woke me up again. She smiles to me. "What are you doing standing there? Come here!"

I approach her silently and look at some sausages and eggs being cooked there.

"Oh, I hope you didn't mind I used a few of the ingredients here. Eddy said you're chill with him using the kitchen too." Belle said.

I smile slightly. "Yeah, it's fine."

"Have you slept well last night?" Belle asked as she cook.

I nod. "Kind of. How about you?"

"Totally, haven't been with my brother a long time, so it's nice." Belle exclaimed in happiness.

"Uh..." I flinch for a sec hearing her saying about Eddy. "Um... did he say anything about me...?"

"About yesterday? Not really, he told me the reason he lived here, though. It seems like he hasn't finished yet, huh."

I looked down. "That's... probably my fault."

After serving the food into three plates, Belle glance back to me curiously. "What do you mean?"

"I supposed to cheer him up, to live life, but obviously I failed. I can't do anything to help him, all I do is just keep him alive without any progress here." I said.

I look away and sigh. "Never mind, it doesn't matter anyway."

Belle silents for a few moment, then smiles.

"You know, Eddy is really worried about you," Belle said, signaling me to go to the table with her. She brings their breakfast along.

I follow her in silence, didn't really know what to say to her words.

"I'm sure you already have a rough time taking care of Eddy from his struggles, but now you should open yourself too." Belle said.

We both sit side by side there, as our eyes look at each other too. Her sentence makes me even more confused.

"There's no turning back in life, we only can decide what's next, even when it hurts," Belle smiles. "We can't run away from reality, no?"

I looked down. We can't run from reality. That is so true. That's just why I couldn't bear to be there for Eddy lately. The more I'm there, the more I can't let go of him. My heart can't lie, I want him to be always with me. But what can I do to refuse the truth?

Eddy doesn't have the feelings I have for him, he loves someone else and I'm always secretly doing all the things for him because I care about him.

I'm really happy when I knew Eddy decides to move on from his past, but what I didn't expect is that's just why I'm troubled. I'm glad I won't be seeing him so depressed as he was last year, but I'm also scared of the future.

But then again, destiny won't care. Whatever I'm thinking, he will STILL leave. And that makes me can't face him. I'm so selfish about this, I know. And I can't possibly admit this to anybody else.

Belle taps my shoulder softly. "Don't think too much. Eddy won't be going anywhere."

"W-What makes you say that?" I asked nervously, a bit surprised with her words.

"I can already see you care so much about him," Belle grins. "You don't want Eddy to leave, right?"

I look away and start eating slowly. "N-No. That's not true..."

Belle chuckles, as she looks through my shoulder. "Hey, Eddy!"

I skipped a beat, then glance to where she is looking. There he is, the man still wearing his blue pajama with bear motive on it. He approaches us and sits beside me.

"Morning, Sis," Eddy responds, then glance to me. "Uh... morning, y/n."

I smile nervously and nod my head. I slide Eddy's portion of breakfast closer to him. "Eat well, Eddy. Belle made it just for you."

Eddy nods and starts eating with us. Now that I have Eddy's sister living here, my apartment starting to feel lively with her chatter. She seems the opposite of Eddy's quiet nature.

I'm acting like a good listener throughout the breakfast and just laugh and smile when necessary. From what I've seen from them, they obviously look really close. It's nice to see Eddy has some back up support.

"By the way, what are you guys doing today?" Belle asked after we finished our breakfast.

"Not much," Eddy answers, before glancing out to me. "Are you going out today too?"

I shake my head. "I don't have anything to do."

"Well then," Belle grab the dishes and immediately approach the sink to wash them. "Let's go somewhere together!"

I wide my eyes, almost unison with Eddy's. We both look at each other in silence, as if thinking about the same thing. I doubt that is a good idea, knowing I never been really going out with Eddy before. At least since he lived here. My instinct sense something weird about this.

"Where are we going, Sis?" Eddy asked.

"I'm going to go shopping, you both should come for some fresh air!" Belle exclaimed with excitement.

I'm still feeling a dilemma, but I won't decide it myself I guess. I glance to Eddy and smile slightly. "Well? Do you want to go?"

"Uh..." Eddy look at me with his face surprised. "Yeah, sure... Why not?"

"Okay! Let's get going then!" Belle cheers happily and pull the both of us from there.

My eyes glance to Eddy as we got into the front door. We immediately got ready and followed where Belle took us.

My heart was churning during the trip, sitting next to Eddy who's driving made me think various things. Despite of being happy to go together with Eddy and Belle, will I be okay in this hangout? What if I do weird things in front of them? What if I make things worse?

To be continued :)

Something will happen in the next chap :P
