I smile when the rainsnow is in sight. Today seems colder than before. My winter jacket, scarf and gloves that Eddy helped me put on didn't really help to warm me.
I hug myself in front of door as Eddy just come out. He looks curious when he glances to me.
"Is it too cold?" The man asked me softly. He approach me and put his hand on my shoulder.
I nod slowly. "It'a okay, though. Maybe I haven't been out in the snow like this for a long time."
"Yeah, you are," Eddy smiles. "Are you sure you're okay?"
I nod again. "It's still comfortable."
Eddy smiles. I look at him surprisingly when he suddenly remove his own scarf from his neck. My nerves tenses when he puts the scarf around my neck.
"H-Hey..." I said when he does it. What is this man doing?
Eddy chuckles. "How do you feel now?"
"....It does feel warmer," I answer with doubt. My eyes focuses on how Eddy is now only wearing a long-sleeved sweater and a beanie. "But how about you?"
Eddy pats my head. "I'll be all right. Your condition matters more."
I silent, watching him closed the door and pull me to the park near the apartment. Eddy seems protective with his hand holding mine tightly along the way, but that of course, makes me even warmer.
There are some kids playing wiyh the snow in the streets. Some people have already said some happy chatters to each other since Christmas is coming. The workers have happy faces, some seems to be talking about gifts and stuff.
I honestly didn't know what to celebrate though.
Eddy glances when we arrived at the park.
"So, what do you wanna do first?" he asked.
"Hmm, you said we're making a snowman, right?" I said, tilting my head down. "I don't know what to do with snow, so..."
"You can do anything with snow, Y/N," Eddy grab some snow with his gloves. "Like this."
"Hm?" I just about yo glance back to him when some snowball comes towards me.
"Catch!"
"Huh!?" Reflexively, I shielded my face with my hands, letting the snowball hit my gloves. I yelled, but not mad, "Hey! What are you doing?!"
Eddy smiles. "It's called snowball fight. We throw each other with some snowballs until one of us lose. It's a fun game."
"Oh... right," My voice calms. I scratch my back of my head confusingly. "Uh, I really have no idea, actually. Sorry."
"Then how about we make the snowman first, to get you used to the environment," Eddy seems warmly understands how I felt about new stuffs.
"Okay."
Eddy invites me to make a big snowball first, rolling my hands through the snow slowly to pile them.
He teaches me bit by bit, until I make some of myself when I get the hang of it. It took quite a while until we can make the snowballs enough for one snowman. We both just stand side by side and keep playing with the snow.
"There," I put the littlest snowball I made, on top of the other bigger snow balls. Eddy and I have made one snowman stands in the park. To be honest, it was fun.
"Ah, too bad I forgot to bring something to decorate the face," Eddy grins guilty. He looks at me in a apologized face.
I look around for a moment, then spotted some little pebbles buried on the snow.
