Brand New Beginning

Chapter one

I woke to the sound of yelling. My adoptive parents were arguing about something again. I got up and started packing. I've been through this before. I've been adopted four times already. Once my clothes and belongings were packed I jumped out of my two story window. My landing was perfect. It's a good thing I'm half vampire. As I was walking down the street I realized that I forgot to leave a note. Oh well, they will figure out I'm never coming back anyway.

I start running and as the trees and houses flash by I imagine what it would be like to live a normal life. I stop at a park in the next town and decide to see where I'm going to live next. It had a huge forest so I decided to stay in a cave. As I dropped my stuff off and looked around I realized how quiet everything is. Next thing I know I can hear thunder in the distance. I've always loved storms but today wasn't a good day. Im starving.

As set my bag down i hear a noise outside. I stop and dash out of the cave. I'm in luck, a couple of hunters were walking around. Guess its lunch time, i run and throw one of the hunters into a tree. Before the other has any time to react i bite his neck. draining him of all his blood. The other man started screaming but i quickly shut him up by biting him aswell. I normally leave humans alone but today i was hungry. i walk back to the cave and punch a nearby wall. I pick up my bag and find my mirror. My eyes were a dark red and my dark brown hair was sticking up in someplaces. i set the mirror down and grab my map.

I needed to leave this town but i didn't know anytowns near here. I looked around the map seeing if a small town was near. I realized i was in California, guess i need to find a different state. i looked up towards Washington and found a small town named Forks. I looked at it a decided to give it a try. I put everything back in the bag and took off.
