Brand New Beginning

Chapter twleve

        I woke up to a bright light. I opened my eyes and realized I was in bed. I jumped into the doorway and looked around. I know I was in the tree last night what happened? "Seth saw you sleeping in the tree and brought you inside"I jumped and swirled around. He was laying down next to a sleeping Bella, I fixed the bed then grabbed my outfit. "Why did he do that?" I asked Edward before leaving the room. "We'll normally people sleep in a bed, and he said you were shaking" he said. What was he doing outside any way? "It was his turn to guard the house with Paul" Edward said. Guard? Guard it from what? "I will explain that later" he said then moved a stray hair out of Bella's face. "You love her huh?" I asked him looking. He nodded and turned his attention to Bella. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door, he will turn out like my father. But a voice in the back of my head said he wouldn't. I shut the voice up and took a quick shower, suddenly the voice came back. If you don't believe in love then why are you getting all worked up over this boy. I hissed, sometimes that little voice has a point. I looked at myself in the mirror, my eyes were black but not a scary black. I had grown thinner and my hair was a terrible mess. I took the brush that was laying on the counter and brushed my hair until there was no tangles.

       I quickly got dressed and left the bathroom. Edward was standing outside the bedroom door, guess Bella is up. He half smiled, I turned around and walked downstairs, I will dry my hair later I'm hungry. I opened the fridge to find not a lot of food. I looked over some things and decided to go hunting. I walked back upstairs md changed yesterday's clothes, it was only ten I can make it back in time to change and leave. Edward heard my thought and gave me a wary look, Bella walked out of the room and half smiled when she saw me. "Good morning Nicollete" she said then walked into the bathroom. I ran into the room and changed quickly, I knocked on the bathroom door "I'll be back Bella" then ran out the door at top speed. As is entered the forest I could already hear the animals heart beats. I stopped when I was deep in the forest. I listened carefully for any movement nearby. I heard a twig snap to my left and I was instantly following the trail. I came upon the animals tracks and realized it was a bear. I smiled, perfect. I finally came up on the bear, it saw me and reared up on its two back feet. I tackled it to the ground and I was about to snap its breath I hear another fast paced heart beat. I turned around and saw a beat cub hiding in the bushes. It was crying at its mom, I sighed and released the bet and dashed to the other side. I ran a different direction and found two deer, good enough. I killed them and drained them. I wiped my mouth, I started to walk back in the general direction I came until I felt like I was being watched. I turned around and tried to find the source but nothing was there. I turned around and started walking again but this time I heard a twig snap I turned around and growled at the empty air. I whipped around dashed out of the forest. I kept running until I hit the street. I stopped and sped walked until I was at the door of Charlie's house. I turned around once more just in time to see something blurry pass by a tree. I quietly growled and walked inside. "Yay!" I growled and was about to hit the person when I realized it was Alice and she had two bags with her.

           "What's wrong you like you've seen a ghost?" She asked looking me over. Maybe, "nothing I just went to get food" I said not smiling. "Well that explains your outfit its twelve o'clock already" she said pointing at the clock. I gasped and ran upstairs and grabbed my outfit. Someone knocked on my door,"When your done open the door I will help you do your hair and makeup" I heard Alice say. "Why does she need make up she is going swimming" I heard Bella say. I smiled thank you Bella. I was down dressing and opened the door. Alice grabbed my arm and pulled me into the bathroom. "Ok I'm going to give you a French braid" said then sat me down in a chair. She brushed my hair that had seemed to get a lot of tangles since this morning. I hissed when she started to pull my hair into a braid. "Stop hissing, you should enjoy this you are going to look so pretty" she jumping. I silently growled and let her do the rest of my hair. When she was down I touched the sides of my head gently. "Don't mess up my master piece" she said then danced out of the room. I looked at myself in the mirror, I did look pretty. "You would prettier if you smiled" Alice said dancing back into the room, he had a white rose in her hand.
